This is very hard to believe, but very much true anyway.

Tinker:

I can not hardly believe that the American people are going to let the US government secretly start looking at every privet moments of their life, with out telling the US Government to go take a hike, and "to get out of here you dirty rat."

How are the American people going to live with the NSA secretly spying on our ever word and deed...How?

‘OTR’ Sneak Peek - Palin: 'I Was Forbidden From Telling the Truth About Obama in 2008'

  • Brian Hughes.. If Liberal Wack jobs just love their agenda, then why aren't they moving to Detroit?
  • Rik Ault ..All the policy in the world wouldnt have saved a town where most of the town hadnt seen any kind of assist or help in decades hence the rising crime and taxpayers moving out led to cutbacks aka "making government smaller" this is what happens when a large city government is shrunk below the size to function , also keep in mind Emergency managers are running SEVERAL cities in Mich into the ground Detroit is just the biggest this story was a long time coming after the emergency managers went in the rate of decline doubled. Congradulations this is Austerity/Conservatism's result not by purpose of design but the end result is from "Smaller taxes and governnment" wich never kept up the auto workers in detroit are fine (ford adding 3k jobs soon) Btw look up emergency managers if you live in Michigan under an emergency manager the "Manager" can take property sell public or private assets, invalidate public votes(has happened several times already) disband the local government (mayor cops ect all can be fired on a whim) or the favorite lately is automatic evictions (manager can walk into your home with cops say move out and throw you on the street read the laws its in there) you think the nsa stuff is bad?

Moscow says security agency FSB is in talks with the FBI over Snowden. But the whistleblower will not be extradited to the US, a Kremlin spokesman said, adding he's sure the fugitive NSA contractor will stop harming Washington if granted asylum in Russia.

Russia has never extradited anyone, and will not extradite,” said Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Russian President is not handling the case of the former CIA employee Edward Snowden, as “Snowden has not made any request that is subject to consideration by the head of the state,” Peskov added.

The issue of Snowden asking for temporary asylum “was not and is not on Putin’s agenda,” Peskov continued, saying that it lies in the sphere of the countries’ security agencies.

Head of the FSB Aleksandr Bortnikov and FBI Chief Robert Muller are engaged in the discussion over Snowden, Putin’s spokesman said Friday.

Responding to the question of whether the former NSA contractor will continue harming the US by leaking classified materials while in Russia, and if the situation is going to undermine Moscow’s ties with Washington, Peskov stressed that “the head of state has expressed strong determination not to allow this,” referring to Putin’s earlier statements.

“I have no doubt that this will be the case, no matter how the situation develops,” the spokesman added. Read more...http://rt.com/news/snowden-russia-extradite-us-634/

Ginsburg says push for voter ID laws predictable

AP Photo
WASHINGTON (AP) - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says she's not surprised that Southern states have pushed ahead with tough voter identification laws and other measures since the Supreme Court freed them from strict federal oversight of their elections. Ginsburg said in an interview with The Associated Press that Texas' decision to implement its voter ID law hours after the court struck down a key provision of the Voting Rights Act last month was powerful evidence of an ongoing need to keep states with a history of voting discrimination from making changes in the way they hold elections without getting advance approval from Washington.

UNSUNG BLACK PEOPLE

July 24, 2013
It must be hard for young black males to always be viewed as criminals by people who notice crime statistics. We've jawboned that sad story for 40 years. Last week, President Obama ran it around the block again in another speech about himself in reaction to the George Zimmerman verdict.

Let's give that beloved chestnut a rest for a day and consider another way blacks have it harder than whites. Only black people are expected to never speak against their community. Might we spend five minutes admiring the courage of blacks who step forward and tell the truth to cops, juries and reporters in the middle of our periodic racial Armageddons? This one is never discussed at all.

In December 1984, Bernie Goetz shot four black men who were trying to mug him on the New York City subway. (About a year later, one youth admitted that, yes, in fact, they "were goin' to rob him." They thought he looked like "easy bait.")

A few days after the shooting, The New York Times got the racism ball rolling with its "beneath the surface" reporting technique: "Just beneath the surface of last week's debate was the question of whether the shooting may have been racially motivated."

Hoping for support for its below-the-surface thesis, the Times visited the mother of Darrell Cabey, the young man paralyzed from the shooting. As the Times summarized the feeling at the Claremont housing project where Cabey lived, "many people said the four teen-agers were troublemakers and probably got what they deserved."

Cabey's mother had received one letter that said: "[Y]ou get no sympathy from us peace-loving, law-abiding blacks. We will even contribute to support the guy who taught you a lesson, every way we can ... P.S. I hope your wheelchair has a flat tire."

The Washington Post also interviewed Cabey's neighbors. Eighteen-year-old Yvette Green said: "If I'd had a gun, I would have shot him." Darryl Singleton, 24 years old, called Cabey, "a sweet person," but added, "if I had a gun, I would have shot the guy." Read More »

Glenn Beck Shames Michele Bachmann For Supporting NSA Spying On Americans (VIDEO)

Posted: 07/25/2013 11:47 pm EDT  |  Updated: 07/26/2013 12:41 am EDT

Glenn Beck went on a rant against Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on Thursday, blasting the congresswoman's support of the NSA's spying on Americans.

On Wednesday evening, conservative Republicans and liberal Democrats joined forces in a rare show of bipartisanship to vote down a proposal from libertarian Republican Justin Amash. The measure, which was offered as an amendment to the Department of Defense appropriations bill, would have restricted the NSA's ability to collect data on Americans unless they were under a criminal investigation or involved in terrorism.

Despite the fact that the White House, the NSA and 111 Democrats support the arbitrary collection of domestic records, Bachmann, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and 130 other Republicans voted to defeat the Amash amendment. Bachmann also complained about the “false narratives” being spread about what the surveillance program is actually collecting.

"Your name, your address is in the phone book. Your name, your address is not in this national security database," Bachmann said.

On Thursday, Beck appeared on TheBlaze, the conservative libertarian TV network he founded, to take Bachmann to task for her "nonsense" comments.

"Don't talk to me about the phone book! First of all, nobody uses the phone book anymore. Don't talk to me about the phone book," Beck said. "I know that the post office is taking pictures of every letter, etc., etc. Who uses a letter anymore?!"

Beck and his co-hosts also complained about the type of data being gathered by the government, and the use of the FISA court to rubberstamp requests allowing domestic surveillance.

"There’s no freedom there and it’s not a false narrative, Michele Bachmann, and shame on you for saying that," Beck said. "Shame on you. You know better than that. And I like you and I have respect for you, but shame on you.”

Beck then turned to his favorite presentation tool -- the chalkboard -- to illustrate his point, writing: “Michelle B- is not dead to me but she is in very very very ILL HEALTH.”

Not surprisingly, Beck misspelled the congresswoman's first name.

This one sentence editorial appeared in the Peoria Journal Star:

"We Americans are so tired of being thought of as dumbasses by the rest of the world that we went to the polls this past November and removed all doubt."

The LSU Tiger stadium ghost

Tinker:

When the sun goes down on the banks of the Mississippi River Baton Rouge Louisiana, a strange and scary thing happens inside LSU Tiger Stadium ....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqKthXGYAOQ

No one really notice when and how this strange scary feeling came out into the open air as everyone was watching LSU playing a college football game in tiger stadium. But never the less there it was.

Some people seem to believe that the evil eye began sitting in tiger stadium on that wet rainy Halloween night 1959 LSU tiger stadium, and Billy Cannon...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIHdlAg4Uic...Billy Cannon Run October 31, 1959

LSU was voted College football National Champions in 1958.

The evil specter always kept interfering with some very strong and talented college football team that came to play the important football game there on the LSU college campus close to the Mississippi River.

LSU once again won the BCS National Championship in 2003 and 2007...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PehMP3tPvMA

Even after losing two regular season college football games LSU was still voted into the final championship game against Ohio State in 2007 BCS National Championship game. The tiger stadium apparition just jumped all over the then very strong Florida Gators with Tim Tebow that year...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tk19twFr2w

Some people think that the very powerful victory ghost in LSU tiger stadium came up river from New Orleans somehow, because as everyone know living around Louisiana that New Orleans was always full of unexplainable Phenomenon.

Cecil Collins is back home.

After 13 years in jail and some weeks in Louisiana, Collins was allowed to return to his home in Florida last week after a Baton Rouge judge granted him permission to leave the state.

Collins, who had been in prison since 1999, is now back in Florida with his wife, whom he married while in prison.

In current football news, 2013 LSU signee Rashard Robinson updated Geaux 247’s Sonny Shipp on his status Friday morning. Robinson is the lone signee of the 2013 class who has yet to report to campus for summer workouts. Fall camp officially opens August 4.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Chris Low caught up with Les Miles to talk about the 2013 season. And in SEC news, a Georgia offensive lineman has finally won his three-year eligibility battle with the NCAA.

On the hardwood, 2014 basketball recruit Dominic Magee updated TSD’s Matt McCurdy on his recruiting process, and the Helen Cox point guard has LSU in the mix.

In baseball news, Tiger Rag’s Luke Johnson caught up with LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri to discuss the arrest of 2014 signee Dylan Williams.
