Zenith of the Ivy league.

Tinker

My country
,' tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;

Now I understand that this song that we all sang as children before the PC police came along, was a prideful tune that most of us Americans learned by heart. But now that we have grown older we now realize that what disappointment we feel these days about the American people Government. Is the same repulsion that all the American people felt though out our American history. Ever since the American Indians realized that Uncle Sam was talking to everyone with a fork tong.

Our American politicians and Bankers have just about squeeze the very life out of the American people today. So I really don't know how much further our worn out American people can go?

Our country's patriotic pride had a renewed prideful feeling for Michelle Obama after her husband Barack Obama was elected president of the United States. The American people wondered if she was not prideful in the American peoples Government before her husband was elected president at that time?

Now after five years of Barack Obama presidency and trillions of dollars in Government dept, and the American people being forced to replace the American people health insurance into Obama care.

And a lot of broken promises from the American people Government once again. The American people are having a hard time themselves feeling prideful over the U.S. Government. But we hope that Michelle my bell is still walking with pride.
----------
ABC’s Barbara Walters did another in a series of sycophantic gushing and fawning interviews with the Obama's Friday.

In the wake of the President’s fallacious claim that people could keep their health insurance plans if they liked them, the most preposterous part of the interview was when Michelle Obama said her husband “keeps his promises” without any pushback from Walters (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

---------
I would hate to believe that some American people pride in the American Government only goes skin deep, what about you?

The American people have suffered through too many political lies, and too many raw deals Mr. TV reporter. So I guess that you will just need to go puff on that American peoples new reality in your legalized grass pipe, and leave what is left of the American people pride alone.

Because the American people have suffered through too many broken Government promises before Obama.
So you go ahead guys and have your White House party with your zenith of the Ivy league. My spirit will simply go where there is better company.

Seven Days and Counting, How does LSU Finish this Class?  (Posted on 1/2/14 at 6:45 pm)

Less than two weeks away from NSD. It appears the staff wants to sign 25, so which recruits close out this class?

We have 19 commitments, and expect to sign 25, so we have six open spots.

For the most part, these are the names that you will see as the days count down.

DB Adoree' Jackson
WR Malachi Dupre
DE Lorenzo Carter
LB Kenny Young
OT Derrick Kelly
DT Travonte Valentine
WR Emanuel Porter
DE Malik McDowell
DT Trey Lealaimatafao

Unfortunately, Breeland Speaks has decided to "settle" with Ole Miss and doesn't appear to be considering the Tigers any longer.

Melvin Hollard Jr, a board favorite, doesn't seem to be a priority to the staff, and has committed to Minnesota. WR Rushing is also no longer being considered.

Damien Prince has chosen Penn St, not LSU, for his final official visit.

Bailey Granier may get yet another look but it appears LSU is not going to extend an offer.

LINK to most recent visitor weekend

Also an important note, there is still an outside shot at decommitments and/or grade problems that could keep current commitments from making it into this class. Most agree that the visits by Godchaux, Williams, and Clark are at least something to keep an eye on, even though they have repeated that they are solid to LSU.

Official Recruit Announcement Times
As these become available, please post in the thread so I can update

Unhappy political trials for lying politicians

Tinker

I suggest that even if you are the most powerful man in the world that you shouldn't lie too much. Because if you tell one lie you are going to need to tell a thousand lies to cover up the first lie.

So of course it is better not to lie at all, no matter who you are.

The American people simply have too much political corruption in our Washington DC seat of power. The U.S. Treasury keeps printing trillions of dollar that amounts to theft by the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank. And the lying dishonest behavior of American politicians in our American society is just to much.

That build up of that abusive Government power over our American history has the American people living under too many problems to handle with out wholesale firing of all the Men and Women working in the American people U.S. Federal Government today.

It has reached the point that the American people can't afford to vote for eater the Republican or Democrat political candidate who they can't trust anymore in the American people future Government elections.

I think that the future path of lying American politicians is getting very perilous for them now. Because the TV camera keeps records that people in the service of Caesar everything is legitimate except lying.

If good people go to heaven, and bad people go to hell. Where does stupid people go?

Recruiting rewind: LSU All-Americans

January, 29, 2014
By David Ching | ESPN.com

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU fans are drooling over uncommitted targets such as Malachi Dupre and Adoree' Jackson, which is understandable since four- and five-star prospects are statistically more likely to become productive college players.

But signing a talented player is only the first step. A coaching staff must also excel at developing talent, which LSU frequently accomplishes since every All-American was not a coveted recruit.

Let's look at how LSU's recent Associated Press All-Americans graded out as high school prospects:

Odell Beckham
Matthew Emmons/USA TODAY SportsOdell Beckham, who became one of the nation's best return men, outperformed the three-star grade he was given coming out of high school.

Odell Beckham
2013 third-team All-American (all-purpose)
ESPN rankings: 78 grade (three stars), No. 62 athlete in 2011
Evaluation highlights: “Beckham is an exciting athlete that displays some versatility and range as an offensive weapon. He is undersized, but very explosive and shifty with good change of direction and excellent overall instincts with the ball in his hands. ... We feel he would need to be a utility player and certainly has a chance to be an excellent return man.”

In hindsight: Not a bad call. ESPN's analyst pegged Beckham's athleticism correctly, as he developed into one of the nation's most electric receivers and return men. He turned out better than a three-star grade, however.

Kevin Minter
2012 second-team All-American (linebacker)
ESPN rankings: 81 grade (four stars), No. 133 overall prospect in 2009, No. 11 outside linebacker

Evaluation highlights: “Minter has a great blend of size, speed and toughness. He isn't tall, but has a thick build and carries his weight very well. He's physically ready to make the jump to the next level. ... He should give his future defensive coordinator the flexibility to play him in the middle or on the strong side.”

In hindsight: Good call. Minter had an outstanding junior season, ranking third in the SEC with 130 tackles and fourth with 15 tackles for a loss before jumping to the NFL.

Eric Reid
2012 second-team All-American (safety)
ESPN rankings: 81 grade (four stars), No. 71 overall prospect in 2010, No. 7 safety

Evaluation highlights: “Reid is a very gifted player that can really excel at the free safety position. He is an excellent field general that plays with confidence and possesses the necessary skills to run the secondary both physically and mentally.”

In hindsight: Good call. Not only was Reid good enough to rank among the SEC's tackles leaders in 2012, he became a 2013 first-round NFL draft pick and made the Pro Bowl as a rookie for the San Francisco 49ers.

Brad Wing
2011 first-team All-American (punter)
ESPN rankings: 74 grade (two stars), No. 24 kicker in 2010
Evaluation highlights: “His long frame and good leg speed allow him to drive the ball 50-60 yards down field. His ability to hang the football is also impressive, with game punts in the 4.8 sec. range. ... Brad has some very good tools to build on. He should become an excellent college punter.”

In hindsight: Not quite. Wing was second in the SEC and 11th nationally in punting for the 2011 conference champs. He encountered problems later in his career, but they were not related to his football talent, which proved better than his prospect ranking.

Tyrann Mathieu
2011 first-team All-American (cornerback)
ESPN rankings: 77 grade (three stars), No. 36 cornerback in 2010
Evaluation highlights: “Mathieu is an underrated defensive back with a good blend of range, athleticism and closing burst. ... Looks and plays taller on film than his listed measurables. ... Just when you think he is a bit-straight lined he will impress you with his lateral fluidity as a return specialist; overall just a very good, instinctive athlete who should only get better as he receives full-time positional coaching.”

In hindsight: Not quite. Mathieu was probably difficult to grade because of the freewheeling style that turned him into a college star. But he made possibly the biggest impact of any individual player on LSU's outstanding 2011 club, generating key takeaways and highlight-reel kick returns all season.

Morris Claiborne
AP Photo/James D SmithOur analysts correctly predicted a change to CB in Morris Claiborne's future. He starred at LSU in his new role and became the Dallas Cowboys' first-round pick in 2012.

Morris Claiborne
2011 first-team All-American (cornerback)
ESPN rankings: 80 grade (four stars), No. 26 athlete in 2009
Evaluation highlights: “Claiborne is a bit of a secret in recruiting circles, but his talent level won't be kept at bay for long once he enters the college ranks. ... He works out of the QB position in high school and sees some duty on defense, as well. We feel he'll be a wide receiver, but in time cornerback could be where he finds the most success. ... Overall, we would be very surprised if this kid didn't have a very productive college career.”

In hindsight: Good call. ESPN's analyst was on the right track in projecting Claiborne's eventual college path, which is difficult when a prospect plays multiple roles in high school. He was possibly the nation's top cover corner by his junior season before becoming the No. 6 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.

Will Blackwell
2011 second-team All-American (offensive guard)
ESPN rankings: 79 grade (three/four stars), No. 15 defensive tackle in 2007
Evaluation highlights: “Blackwell is an athletic big man who displays good football intelligence. He has a good get off and does a good job of shooting his hands. He can create separation and read blocks. He is physical at the point of attack and displays the ability to hold his ground. ... As he physically grows, he has the tools to be a big, quick, disruptive presence in the trenches.”

In hindsight: Wrong position. The evaluation graded him as a defensive player, but some of the tools that made Blackwell a valuable offensive lineman emerge in the analyst's comments.

Sam Montgomery
2011-12 third-team All-American (defensive end)
ESPN rankings: 84 grade (four stars), No. 26 overall prospect in 2009, No. 2 defensive end

Evaluation highlights: “Montgomery got a late start in the game, but is an exciting prospect. He is green (only one year of football under his belt), but he appears to be a natural. Has excellent athletic ability and also shows a grasp of some of the game's nuances. ... Montgomery is an excellent prospect who has both immediate value and considerable upside.”

In hindsight: Good call. Natural athleticism helped Montgomery become a two-time All-American. He has yet to maximize those talents, but became a third-round NFL draft pick when he left after his junior season.

The progressive political propaganda TV Networks

Tinker

The American TV News Networks are playing a very dangerous progressive political propaganda game with the American people. As they keep trying to sell the latest spark of progressive television politics in yesterday, today, and tomorrow broadcast to the American people culture. Television is everything to American politics now.

Do you really think that calling a bad person a thug in today society is really calling them a racial slur. Do you really feel like that because the United States once had human slaves from Africa working in the Southern States cotton fields. That you and I are morally responsible for all African American people living in America today.

Do you really think that the American people now are morally responsible for something that happened before we were born.

I will answer that bull talk for you. Of course not!

That the American political progressive television shows is constantly trying to use the American people morally responsible guilt complex over past social discrimination to further control the way the American people vote. To vote for the progressive Ivy league engender in our United States Government is what I find to be very morally reprehensible today to me.

If only the American people would simply tell the American politicians who are doing that to go peddle that phoney bull talk somewhere else is my only hope for my countryman better political health tomorrow, today.

And because I feel that way about the progressive peoples politics today, the people who say that they are Democrats today, are calling me extrema. And that untrue remark coming from them just looks like a new tool in the old progressive political tool box to me.

The same old progressive argument using the same old bull talk in another place in time. I don't believe the progressive political policy's of today because the proof is in the pudding. And ladies and gentleman our Washington DC United States Government is in a horrible mess.

So I say no thank to you Mr. & Mrs. Progressive Northeastern Ivy league political oracles.

Who ever you are.

I don't like president Barack Obama because he like to use other people for his own selfish political reasons. That impulsive trait has become apparent to me as Obama was speaking into the state of the union cameras. I also was cringing at the politicians who were clapping at predictable moments. When the politicians were using Obama as much as Obama was trying to use them. And of course both of them trying to use us the American people.
All in all I was more bothered with this state of the union speech because this oversold Barack Obama broken promise was so damn obvious.

Voting democrat because there's no business like show business.

Tinker

Why does California keep voting for the Democrats?  Answer: Because of the extra amount of Mexican people pouring across the Mexican/American border illegally.

When President Roland Reagan gave amnesty to the millions of Mexican aliens in America at that time. California began electing more and more Democrats because the Mexican people always vote democrat, period.

The Democrats voting block was born, Black people voting over 70 percent democratic, Mexican people voting over 70 percent democratic, and White Union American people voting over 40 percent democratic, That voting block could be counted on to keep electing what is now called a progressive political party.

Yours truly Barack Obama.

The white American people voting democrat is down to 45 percent but that added to the other two overwhelming Black/Mexican vote keep winning big states like California for the democratic progressive party. Winning the amount needed to win The United States Electoral College.

Without California the Democratic progressive party are losers instead.

The American people have be a stool pigeon for unscrupulous Democratic/Republican politicians who love to fix the American people free election all day long. Just look at the amount of time, money, and energy, spent on television convening the American people to keep doing what they have been doing since I was born.

Now the new selling point is unequal income between the Rich and Poor people, tell us about it Mr. President showman...How do you like those rotten apples America?

I wonder just when was the last free American election held, 1776?

‘Face the Nation’ Edits Out Senator Cruz Condemning Obama’s ‘Abuse of Power'

Jeffrey Meyer's picture
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared on CBS Face the Nation on Sunday morning and was met with a barrage of questions from host Bob Schieffer about his involvement in the government shutdown. Apart from being the victim of Schieffer’s accusations that the Tea Party senator was to blame for the shutdown, it also appears that Mr. Cruz was the victim of editing by CBS.

Based on video from Senator Cruz’s YouTube page and what aired on today’s Face the Nation broadcast, the senator’s comments surrounding President Obama’s “abuse of power” were edited from the program. Instead what aired was a segment that ignored many of the senator’s complaints directed at President Obama. [See the aired and unaired videos below.]

In the video that aired on CBS, the interview between Schieffer and Cruz ended with the following back and forth:
BOB SCHIEFFER: Will you run for president?
SEN. TED CRUZ: Well, look, my focus is on the challenges facing this country right now (UNINTEL) senate.  My focus, for example, is on the abuse of power from the president.  Let's take something like the IRS scandal--
BOB SCHIEFFER: So, I'll take that as a yes or a no.
SEN. TED CRUZ: Eight months ago--
BOB SCHIEFFER: Or still thinking about it.
SEN. TED CRUZ: Well, what you can take that as, is that my focus is standing and fighting right now in the senate to bring back jobs and economic growth.  Economic growth is my number one priority…
BOB SCHIEFFER: Thank you, so much, for joining us and we'll talk to you again.
However, as Senator Cruz’s YouTube channel showed, the Texas senator had extensive commentary on President Obama that mysteriously did not make it to air, just two days before the president’s State of the Union address:
SCHIEFFER: “Will you run for President?”
CRUZ: “My focus is on the abuse of power of this President. Let’s take something like the IRS scandal-“
SCHIEFFER: “Do I take that as a yes or a no?”
CRUZ: “What you can take is that my focus is standing and fighting right now in the Senate to bring back jobs and economic growth. Let me tell you something that is deeply concerning—the abuse of power from this Administration. We’ve seen multiple filmmakers prosecuted and the government’s gone after them. Whether it’s the poor fellow that did the film that the President blamed Benghazi and the terrorist attacks on, turns out that wasn’t the reason for the attack but the Administration went and put that poor fellow in jail on unrelated charges. Just this week it was broken that Dinesh D’Souza, who did a very big movie criticizing the president, is now being prosecuted by this Administration.”
SCHIEFFER: “Senator-“
CRUZ: “Can you image the reaction if the Bush Administration had went, gone and prosecuted Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin and Sean Penn?
SCHIEFFER: Senator--
CRUZ: It should trouble everyone the government uses government power and the IRS in particular to target their enemies and you are talking a new minutes to Chuck Schumer—“
SCHIEFFER: “We are going to leave this for another day, senator. Thank you for joining us and we’ll talk to you again.”
Now it is certainly plausible that CBS edited out the ending of the Cruz interview for time, however given that Cruz’s comments were extremely critical of the president and came just two days before an embattled President Obama gives his State of the Union speech, the timing of such editing is highly inappropriate and unusual.

CBS should explain why it felt it appropriate to edit out a high profile senator accusing the President of the United States of targeting his politcal enemies. These are strong accusations leveled at the president, and CBS’s viewers deserve to hear them, yet strangely they were not.

American humor:

Tinker

This is getting truly humorous over how the American people are letting the entertainment business become so much of a influence into their daily behavior.

I guess that when it come to looking for something else to do with their free time, besides working, and chasing the almighty dollar. That the vast majority of the American people have become a creature of habit. Radio, Computers,Television, Music, Theater, Movies, Restaurant, Nightclub, Bar Room, Sports events. All apart of what a American citizen might do to spend their extra time on.

It looks like that the American people program themselves more than from any other source. So I am starting to notice that the American people don't have anyone else to blame for their less than happy state of affairs show.

So blaming everything on president Barack Obama is really not what is hurting the American people ability to get this country's politics right, now is it?

The majority of the American people voted for every single politician now running Washington DC American government. If the American people would have not voted for the men and women who will gather to hear our president state of the union address, Our dissatisfaction with the way the American Government is being run would not be at question now would it?

The American people don't have anyone else to blame for this up and coming crummy state of the union speech, except themselves.

The show that no one likes was produced by the American people. That is why I am laughing over their apparent unhappy applauds with their U.S. Government politicians from the American people even before they hear it.

This bad political joke is on us.

Jewish World Review

Political exhibitionism: State of the Union is full of sound and fury

By George Will

JewishWorldReview.com | As undignified as it is unedifying and unnecessary, the vulgar State of the Union circus is again at our throats. The document that the Constitutional Convention sent forth from Philadelphia for ratification in 1787 was just 4,543 words long, but this was 17 too many.

America would be a sweeter place if the Framers had not included this laconic provision pertaining to the president: “He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union.”
“Information”? Not exactly.

The Constitution’s mild requirement has become a tiresome exercise in political exhibitionism, the most execrable ceremony in the nation’s civic liturgy, regardless of which party’s president is abusing it. You worship bipartisanship? There is not a dime’s worth of difference between the ways the parties try to milk partisan advantage from this made-for-television political pep rally.

Tuesday evening, Barack Obama probably will concentrate on inequality as a way of changing the subject from his inconvenient triumph, the Affordable Care Act. So he probably will again propose partial public financing of Democratic candidates’ campaigns, by again calling for “high-quality” universal preschool. This adjectival phrase is code for: Now we will do better because we will employ more certified — and unionized — teachers.

I think you have something beautiful there

Tinker

I was walking back into my front door yesterday when I heard my grandson playing a piece of music that he was creating out of thin air. All I could do was sit still on the nearest chair, because I do believe that he had something very beautiful there.

He is only 12 and I did not want to distract him, he always makes a point of greeting me with a hug and smile. Anyway as I saw his fingers sliding across his saxophone I realized that the musical talent I heard was something that God must have given him. Where else would that kind of human magic comes from.

Sometimes I get the greatest satisfying surprises when I least suspect it.

So it is our family member, friends, and neighbors, citizens, that will give our country society the nice thing in life. Getting caught up into the daily process created by this country's economy has me working too closely around modern technically that can become blinding. Only to realize that I get the biggest thrill from the people themselves. The flash of individual human talent that give me a better perspective and hope for our country's future.

The best is yet to come if we as a country can only hire the right people to do the political job in the right way in Washington DC.

Like Charles Krauthammer said; To get our American politics right.

Turn the TV station to a better show, or if need be turn the television and Hollywood bull talk off, and go about doing what we know is right together.

The true beauty of people is just about everywhere if we look outside of television, so let's get out and about town and stop to enjoy it.
Vote those bad creepy people out of the seats of political power in our American government, and back each other up with faith, hope, and charity, and human beauty instead.

Life is the great beauty spread out before our eyes, the longer we get to live with that natural magic the more beautiful it becomes.

Dazzling colors from a pitch black nothing. The glory and excitement of that reality alone make our birth worthwhile.

Tell me if you were to start off with that same nothing at all, could you equally create the great light that make those beautiful colors that we see today, much less all the rest?

Cruz: Obama Should Apologize to Nation in State of the Union

Video

With the bungled launch of HealthCare.gov and the Affordable Care Act causing millions losing their healthcare coverage, Ted Cruz urged the president to use Tuesday’s State of the Union address to apologize to the American people.

“For the State of the Union, one of the things President Obama really ought to do is look in the TV camera and say to the over five million Americans all across this country who’ve had their health insurance canceled because of Obamacare, to look in the camera and say, “I’m sorry — I told you if you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it,” the Texas senator said on Face the Nation on Sunday. “‘I told you if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, and that wasn’t true — I’m sorry.’”

But the president match his words with action, Cruz said. “The pattern we’ve seen over and over again with this president is he says he’s sorry and he expresses outrage but then he doesn’t fix the problem.”

JOHNSON: Farewell to the final year
1/23/2014 11:26:37 AM

By LUKE JOHNSON
Tiger Rag Associate Editor

So long, final year of eligibility.

It was nice to know you while you lasted, which was a good, long while. You gave us one more great reason to come out to the stadium on Saturday to cheer on our favorite players on our favorite team. They were guys that had been around the block a few times, guys that dazzled and induced helpless gasps from tens of thousands of people.

You had a good run, final year of eligibility. But your time, officially, is over – at least for those collegiate stars that have even the remotest chance of being selected sometime before the weekend in the NFL draft.

The new (read: latest) NFL collective bargaining agreement, signed in 2011, effectively sounded your death knell. You had to see that the times, they were a-changin’.

You see, football is more than just a game now. It is a high-stakes, cutthroat business, and too many throats were needlessly getting cut the old way. For all parties involved, a change needed to be made, and that left you on the outside looking in.

Wet-behind-the-ears kids were making more money than established veterans in the league, and even though you’re closely associated with college ball, you and I both know that just wasn’t right. It was an affront to those who’d cut their teeth for years on Sundays and, frankly, it was getting out of control. I mean, Sam Bradford was a hell of a prospect coming out of Oklahoma, but giving him $50 million guaranteed before he even threw a professional pass? Ludicrous, and you know it.

It altered the course of the sport, especially when considering the relationship between the college and professional versions. It was a boulder dropped into the waters of professional football, and he ripple effect was great enough that the wave of change rushed into the college ranks.
You knew that was coming, too, but what could you do?

There was no barricade you could’ve erected to suppress that wave. It screamed through your defenses to wash away the barriers that had been in place for college juniors. Now, there’s no reason not to jump ship.

A record 98 underclassmen decided to give you up this year, final year of eligibility, including seven from LSU if you count Alfred Blue, who decided he didn’t want to use the medical redshirt offered to him. A handful of the really exciting ones – guys like Johnny Football and Jeremy Hill -- even ditched your sister, two years of eligibility. Because the obstacles or incentives or whatever the hell it was that you had to keep guys in school before before were swept away with the new CBA.

Before, a guy could consider staying an extra year to vault up the draft boards. He may have been playing with fire, considering the possibility of injury or a down year, but the earnings potential an added year offered outweighed those risks in some cases.

Look at Ndamakong Suh, who parlayed an outstanding senior season at Nebraska into being the second overall pick of the 2010 draft, which, in case you were wondering, was the last time you were relevant. Suh made $40 million guaranteed in his rookie deal, roughly double what Luke Joeckel, the No. 2 overall pick last season was guaranteed.

Guys like Suh do not stick around anymore, and why should they? The potential reward no longer outweighs the risk.

You’re a bright concept, final year of eligibility, and you’ve been around athletes a lot longer than I have. So you know that, especially in the last three decades or so, big-time athletes only play college football as a means to an end.

The overwhelming majority do not come to your hallowed campus halls with dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, or accountants. They come to school to prove themselves worthy of the next level. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I went to college to study journalism, yes. But I was not interested in the study of journalism. I was interested in the practical application of what I’d learned. If the New York Times came calling in my junior year with a job offer, I’d have been out of the Red Stick faster than you can say, "Stop the presses!”

That exact same scenario played out this year at LSU. Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham, Trai Turner, Ego Ferguson, Freak Johnson, Hill and Blue all heard the call from the next level, and it was too tempting to ignore. By coming back for another season, each of those players would be betting a lot of chips needing a royal flush to win big.

There are the outliers, yes, but each with underlying motivations. La’El Collins decided to give it another go at LSU, but his potential reward is greater than all of the aforementioned players.

Right now, Collins is a fringe right tackle/guard prospect who would likely end up as a second or third round draft pick. With another year at left tackle, where he just completed his first season, Collins might be able to prove himself a capable professional left tackle. Those guys tend to get drafted high and earn a lot of money.

Look, I’ve loved you, final year. Back when I was still a fan rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers in my youth, I got to see guys like Ron Dayne and Chris Chambers dominate in their senior seasons.

You gave me yet another reason to come back to college football every year. But the reasons are a little different now. In this day and age, your younger cousin -- first year of eligibility -- is the belle of the ball. She’s the one drawing eyes to the sport, introducing guys like Leonard Fournette and Brandon Harris to waiting eyes of fans.

You were awesome in your heyday, final year – you’re obsolete now, and that’s ok.

A crazy process is not a better life:

For goodness sakes stop kissing the back side of corruption and realize that money is not everything. That the attitude of a man or women or community really matters. What is wrong with waiting until your four years of college is up, and than enter the NFL after graduation no matter what the pros want?

Are your the master of your own fate and are you going to be just another sucker for fame, fortune, celebrity.

Are you a person of a free will or are you just another addicted human life declining into the woodwork. Much like the social mess that we are creating for our children today. The truth of the matter is that all of what we see and hear is no one fault but our own.

LSU is a college University, not a NFL farm team. Why not try to keep our college University's a place of higher learning teaching the person to help advance their knowledge, and not becoming apart of a process for what is going on now in today's crazy society.

Just because other people act crazy, for whatever reason, you don't need to follow. Why not try to treat each other people better than that? P.S. The shiny polished floors of a new gymnasium don't overshadow a child's education.....just sayin!!!!

Fighting for the spirit of God against that fierce invisible sin

Tinker

Fighting for our freedom seems so long and hard when we keep looking back throughout time, you wouldn't think everyday people could champion our Lord Gods spirit like true warriors fighting through thousand of years in fierce battles against Hell's evil terror.

How can we free our world that keep pursuing a foolish process for sinful political power, wealth, and addiction. Wars against evil that seemed to be won yet only to rise again as the same old sinful terror that keep building governments of thugs spreading crime, poverty, waste, want, through out the human culture.

The years of God's brave warriors suffering and struggling from the cuts and broken bones, crippled from the explosions, then dying by the millions. Gods martyrs from generation after generation in wars against humankind evil deeds.

How many battles on the battlefields has it been where the struggle of unarmed decent people was fighting against sinful evil abuse. Family member and young children that were beaten and cruelly hurt. Sins of the many against the few.

The chilling crying sounds of falling tears shad from the eyes of the broken dreams, crushed beneath the cruel behavior of sinful human meanness. Sins that changed the way people feel.

Evils self feeding progression.

Sins coming from the rich and well dressed leaders who develop their political power to deceive and trick their countryman population with cold blooded sinful dishonest. Scheme to legalize institutionalized corruption against civilized people laws, so they can used trusting innocent citizens for their own selfish desires.

Show me four, three, two, or even one, person who has not been abused by bad behavior from the sinful people around them. Sin has always touched everyone, no one has been spared. Not even one out of all can we find a heart who was not hurt by their own kind. The sin of humankind is as old as time, and that sin never seems to end.

Two thousand years has passed since Jesus Christ walked this land when he preached forgiveness and peace. The people back then never truly reconciled who Jesus was. Because he said that he was the son of god and that seems so far fetched and crazy.

And then they listened to what he preached anyway.

Think of the great comfort Jesus Christ brought to the very harsh life of the people who were being pushed around by the cruel taskmaster back then. That Jesus Christ brought forgiveness to the people, that God was merciful and kind.

Before Jesus, that was not so.

That magical attitude of Jesus Christ who taught the people that the Lord God loved them even after they fell into sin. To simply repent, and come home to him. That they are forgiven because they were created from God love, and into God love they can return.

Since then 2.1 billion Christians are in this world today people like you and I, a religious kinship in the spirit of our Lord God. God's spirit was brought to life in the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ, the son of God. So we could believe in God's living spirit.

I mean how do you prove the living spirit of God, a living spirit from alpha to omega. The living spirit that our imagination simply can't imagine, because we are only human.

Jesus said that he was born from the virgin Mary as the son of a holy trinity. A new and renewed covenant from God with man. The Father, Son, Holy spirit.

So the people then and now first struggled with a virgin Mary giving birth without a normal intercourse with a man. Tell me how else should God prove to humankind that the spirit of God is real? So he sent his spirit to be born just like all the other human baby's that was born into the world, except God was the father, no one else.

Making the spirit of God flesh and blood in Jesus his only begotten offspring. Proving to all of humankind that the spirit of God was as real as you and I.

Now you can believe that or not because man has a free will to pick and choose what they want to believe. I choose to believe.

Because there was still a greater moment for humanity to take place, and that moment was to truly make Jesus Christ the living spirit of God.

"The Resurrection of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:6-8):
Then he appeared to more than 500 hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

Thomas had been told that this Christ had risen, by people he knew well and might reasonably have trusted, namely the other apostles. He had every reason to take them seriously, yet his doubts overwhelmed him. John reports that Christ later appeared to Thomas, eliciting his famous response “My Lord and my God.” Christ’s reply to him, however, is salutary. “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:24-29)."
What made you rise after you were far down sick and alone before you realize why, God's spirit was always with us from the first human. Even our sins never stopped him from loving us, because he was there all along. What helped you know right from wrong, and how did you feel when you first heard about Jesus Christ truly loving you.

I mean who truly loves us like that.

That the spirit of God was not a cruel one way path to Hell if you fail. But now we are forgiven because of Jesus Christ sacrifice for humanity soul. Did you feel hope when Jesus told you that God still loves you even after your sin.

Because of the spirit of God's renewed covenant with man through him Jesus you can now go and sin no more, and that you are forgiven. God freeing your tormented guilt from within your own heart, like your sins never happened.
------

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
-------
I keep fighting against all the bad I know and see now, even within myself. And somehow I feel the spirit of God step for step still beside me blessing me for my efforts. I even sometime admit to the people who live with me that I feel the spirit of god every now and then. That is a very important admission from me, because the people who love me is all that I have. And if they were to abandon me I would be hurt and made to feel very much alone from their lost. So when I admit to not only believe in god's spirit, but also having the ability to love him back. I am risking all who I love here on this earth.

Seriously, the people I love the most might think that I am off my rocker and change towards me. After seeing me fighting for my freedom against that fierce invisible sin, and me praying as I champion the spirit of God.

I have lived a charmed life so far because I do still feel the sincerity of the people who love me.

What more could I want from this life, I can go on fighting against sin trying to redeem my own soul because I have been sinful also, doing something greater than yourself and still be able to keep the people who love me close.

Jesus did not drop God's mantle all the way to the very end, to spread the spirit of God's divine attitude for our sake.

If I was to fall, or fail, the spirit of God within me the very sky that I live under would turn pitch black, void of light or life, and I would feel like that I was never born, much less die, and that I would not have existed at all. Losing God's spirit would be just to hard for me to bare. So until my end I will go on fighting for the spirit and honor of our Lord God's loving attitude.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, an 1887 painting by Victor Vasnetsov. The Lamb is visible at the top.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in the last book of the New Testament of the Bible, called the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to Saint John the Evangelist at 6:1-8. The chapter tells of a "'book', or 'scroll', in God's right hand that is sealed with "seven seals". The Lamb of God, or Lion of Judah (Jesus Christ), opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses. Although some interpretations differ, in most accounts, the four riders are seen as symbolizing Conquest,[1] War,[2] Famine,[3] and Death, respectively. The Christian apocalyptic vision is that the four horsemen are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment.[1][4]
----------
I am still waiting for that kind of freedom. Walking around after surviving the great final battle in the grand open air that fills our hearts with love, life, and music.

When God spirit is beside us again together privately understanding our soul victory with our family, friends, and countryman. If God chooses to be with us in spirit, that is when I will be finally free. Evil will not overtake humanity's soul, the spirit of God will see to that.

ABC reporter Jon Karl on Wednesday broke from the official journalistic fawning over Michelle Obama's birthday, asking White House Press Secretary Jay Carney about the cost and whether the American taxpayer would pay the bill. Yet, his own network totally ignored the exchange and kept it off Wednesday's World News, Nightline and Thursday's Good Morning America.

In the briefing, Karl pushed, "The First Lady had her 50th birthday party and I believe you said that the President picks up the cost for that party." Carney dodged, "I think we put out information. I don't have it here. I would refer you to the east wing." The ABC journalist followed-up, "I was just wondering if you had an estimate on what the cost was?" Again, the White House spokesman spun, "I don't. But I would refer you to the east wing." The "east wing" is a reference to Michelle Obama's office. [For C-SPAN video of the exchange, see below.]

ABC reporters have repeatedly fawned over the First Lady's "extended vacation," showing no interest in the cost. On January 6, Fox News's Ed Henry quizzed, "The First Lady stayed behind and the White House said that was an early birthday present from the President. Does that mean he's paying for the flight back or taxpayers?"

Instead of investigating that line of questioning, Good Morning America's Lara Spencer enthused on January 7: "This morning, there are reports that Mrs. Obama is spending the rest of her stay with her good friend Oprah Winfrey at her estate on the island of Maui. Winfrey will also be celebrating a milestone birthday."

LSU within range of top-3 recruiting class entering final weeks

BATON ROUGE – The No. 1 tailback in the nation already knows what number he will be wearing at LSU in the fall after committing on Jan. 2. Leonard Fournette of St. Augustine in New Orleans will be No. 7.

There is also number at LSU waiting for the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver – Malachi Dupre of John Curtis High in the New Orleans area. But there is one in the works for him at Florida State, Alabama and UCLA as well.

If Dupre ends up at LSU, it will mark the first time the Tigers landed the No. 1 tailback and wide receiver in the same recruiting class. That would also vault LSU from No. 6 in the current team recruiting rankings by Rivals.com to the top three or higher, according to Michael Scarborough of TigerBait.com/Rivals.com.

“I think it looks good for Dupre,” Scarborough said Friday. “It’s very important that LSU get him. He is the No. 1 receiver in the country, but receiver is also a position of need for LSU. They need a tall guy like him with speed who can stretch the field.”

Dupre is 6-foot-4 and 175 pounds with 4.6 speed and would likely play right away for the Tigers, who are losing junior receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. a year early to the NFL Draft. Dupre has never been in a pass-oriented offense as he caught only 70 passes for 1,423 yards with 21 touchdowns in his last two prep seasons, but he moves fast.
