Now, both players are entering their junior seasons, Fournette at LSU and Cook at Florida State, and will be eligible for the NFL draft after this year.
One NFL scout told Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson that Cook is "every bit as good" as Fournette in regards to being a draft prospect.
Fournette, who broke the LSU record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns last season with 1,953 and 22, has rushed for a total of 2,987 yards in the last two seasons while Cook has 2,699 rushing yards in the same time.

So do not look for 2016 to be helpful for the career of their star running back Leonard Fournette brand, and chances of winning the Heisman Trophy. Because losing 3 or more football game because Les Miles can't coach is something he cannot control. And is simply very hard to look better than all of the other good college running back playing good football at other school like Florida State.
Leonard Fournette should have chosen Alabama instead of LSU - but woulda coulda shoulda is for losers right.

He probably thought Ryan Leaf was just as good as Peyton Manning.
Seattle
thought Sam Bowie was just as good or better than Michael Jordan too.
How did that work out for them? He can have his team choose Cook over
Fournette and see how that works out for him. Put his money and career
where his mouth is.
