Jim, you wrote above that "it COULD become a full-blown QB controversy."  Heavens to Betsy, we are already there.  Brandon Harris has long since reached his ceiling and it is a very low one.  He does not have the maturity and simply cannot master the mental side of the game.  All you have to do is look at the solid QB play by FRESHMEN this weekend at other major programs, and you just shake your head in frustration.  Les Miles' 'over the top' loyalty to his players and coaches that are not performing is a fault that he can never over come, especially when combined with his stubbornness.  I was a Miles fan until near the end of last season.  This overpaid coach must go, and it should have happened last year -- and it would have except for the intervention by President F King Alexander.

@Gumbo88 We need Miles the Best opinion on the situation at hand, but, he is still in seclusion after the LSU loss on Saturday. Plus the fact, that he knows darn well that his boy Les Miles, days are numbered, just like the mascot Mike the Tiger.

They will have to put up 45+ points Saturday and give up no more than 14 for me to even remotely think the season is salvageable.  I'd really like to see Culp kicking off, I mean, what could possibly be worse than Gamble?

It should not be Panic time for us Tiger fans. I think anyone that looked at this situation reasonably saw this coming since the retention of Les Miles last January. This is certainly one of the three or four games that they are going to lose to stay in this place that tiger fans definitely do not want to be in. This place that I speak of is called frustration at mediocrity. As I have said before and I will continue to beat this drum. We will do nothing more than a winning record and a so-so bowl game.

why would anyone ever think Harris would get it. His issues go beyond teaching. Its called instinct. As for Boutte, I'm not sure I have to big an issue with what happened. I don't think it should have happened but it did. You gotta admit it was a good hit. Best hit all game. Wisconsin was running around in these guys faces all day long. And then you have a bone headed play by the one person your coach has told everyone is a different player this year. Boutte didn't hurt the team. He just hurt himself. At least it shows he has some emotion and a little bit of a mean streak.

As for defense, I thought the defense was tough. Kinda like a bend but don't break philosophy. Once they made adjustments, thought they got better. This defense is going to be real tough to move the ball against. Speed all over the field.

Special teams were atrocious. Get a damn American punter and never let Gamble kickoff again. Miles looks like he is playing people he wants to succeed instead of playing people that can help win the dang game.

@stope says..  "Miles looks like he is playing people he wants to succeed instead of..."

Yeah, and it don't make sense because NONE of them (teacher pets) will succeed at foosball...

@PoFoke @stope Yes Sir! That seem to be very much true. Cheering these teacher pet players along is what he calls coaching, and the LSU players like it also. While they are waiting to go play in the NFL...
Edit (in 1 minute)

LSU loss to Wisconsin has fans in a frenzy. See what they said on yesterday's chat.
