Babies, of course, do not realize at birth that they will be rich or poor according to the people who might like them or not. All-through school and later life, this social truism becomes the very fact in their life that they feel grateful or depressed about, with each succeeding Birthday.

How are we suppose to know that all of these ambitions that we feel chasing after fame and fortune, wealth, and power, doesn't amount to a hill of beans if you are not liked, or loved by someone else?

The way that we are raised seems to be everything to me these days. After seeing all of the harm that the people of the world keep doing to each other I keep feeling that much luckier, because of the people who have like me over the years in my life.

Because of you, I feel good about on my Birthday again today. Something that I have no control over at all seems to be my greatest feeling, you.
