There is no rest for the weary on Labor Day.

And at 11 a.m. this morning that means we'll moan, chat, bellyache, reason about soon not-to-be No.5/6 LSU's stunningly underwhelming 16-14 season opening loss to Wisconsin Saturday at Lambeau Field.

I'd suggest that we can also talk about happened in the rest of the SEC -- a bad opening weekend for the league -- but I'm guessing you don't care what happened anywhere but what took place in Green Bay.

So join me, LSU/SEC columnist Ron Higgins, right here at 11 a.m. this morning

Ron-could Alleva have fired Cameron if he wanted to? Is there something in Miles' contrat that would prevent Alleva from taking that action?

Will LSU be ranked after this pitiful lost.
5. LSU: All the way out of the rankings? Nah, but ...

"It wasn't just the loss to unranked Wisconsin. It was losing in the most worrisome possible way for the Tigers: having no offense."

There's nothing else that needs to be talked about besides how come every other team in the nation isn't afraid to use a 2 QB system early in the year to see who the better man is but LSU. Les miles has got a serious issue, like he owes the kids something. U don't owe them anything. Ur suppose to be a ruthless coach and the best man plays period. O and btw all this changed offense I heard from les and cam....didn't see it one bit.

Miles isn't going anywhere...his best chance to actually leave was when Michigan wanted him and fans and some media people were crying for him to stay after the story got leaked....he stayed only to save face, but now Michigan probably doesn't even want him right now....So basically we are stuck with him

I wanna change my name from "SlidellBoy" to "FLAT. OUT. ON. FIRE!"  Referring to Cameron's comments in interviews leading up to the opening game.  I heard him say that multiple times.

I will not put the blame on Harris or any other kid on that team.  They are not paid professionals although we treat them that way in both positive and negative ways.  The reason our qbs struggle isn't because we are the most unlucky school in history in recruiting top tier QBs.  They have ALL struggled because of the system they are put in to run.  Harris has plenty of physical skills and he had them out of high school.  Miles and Cameron have wasted his and many other QBs talents by using them incorrectly.  I was not an Anti-Miles guy... I am now!  Love the guy, but the coach's ego is killing our program's chances at success on the highest levels.  Makes TOTAL sense that WRs are transferring.  They knew they wouldn't see the field, much less the ball.

Remember everybody... "FLAT. OUT. ON. FIRE!"

This will be the last time I talk about this game; hopefully...

After having all summer to prepare for this game, how do we use the same 10 plays as we did in every game last season? Teams load the box with 8 or 9 and make Harris throw into single coverage knowing he can't unless the WR gets 5 yards separation.

I know this won't happen but in the perfect world, I would like to fire Alleva and hire Miles to replace him, hire Tom Herman, let Harris transfer, go with Etling the remainder of the season. The team has ZERO confidence that Harris can lead them and they masked it all summer by saying the right things.

How could LSU have remotely considered renewing Cameron as one of, if not the highest, paid OCs in country?

Why was Peveto rehired as a special teams coach after being one of the worse DCs in LSU history?
Seems like Miles with nepotism to friends at an extreme that is a detriment to the program.

@FutureTrends Speaking of Cameron... Remember this quote?  "We are FLAT. OUT. ON. FIRE!"

The only thing on fire is the asses of Miles, Cameron, and, hopefully, Alleva.
