How much will LSU running back Leonard Fournette play?
By the time Fournette and his hard-to-heal ankle injury take the field Saturday night against Ole Miss, it will be four weeks since he's taken a snap in a game. Until this week, he hadn't been practicing and as late as last week LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron said he wasn't quite sure when Fournette would play again.
Then Fournette visited Orgeron in his office last Friday morning. "He said, 'Coach, I'm ready to go,' you could feel the fire in him," Orgeron said.

LSU vs Ole Miss means everything to these two SEC football teams...

Key to the game to me is make them one dimensional. If LSU can stay in base I think they can limit the big pass plays. The quick game they employ gets the ball out of Kelly's hand pretty quickly, so I'm sure the emphasis with the DL this week has been to get arms/hands up if they don't get to him. Curious to see how many batted balls we have.
LSU is going to have to score in the 30s to win this one. Chad Kelly will light up LSU's secondary, they won't face a better QB all year. Their WRs are really big & their TE Engram is one of the best. I know Ole Miss is 3-3, but don't let that fool you, this team is really good. This has all the makings of another classic in the rivalry. Man I'm excited for this one, and I'll be there!!!
