Coca Cola's motto is:
TASTE THE FEELING™
THE REFRESHING TASTE OF
COCA-COLA AND DELICIOUS FOOD, IT'S A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN.
In their motto, they relate "The refreshing taste of coca-cola and delicious food" together. When I think of Coca-Cola I think of baseball park hotdogs to go with it.
My brother and I road a New Orleans street car to Pelican Stadium; it was a great treat for us back in the 1950s.
Shortly before Television and only the Movie-tone news reels at our neighborhood theater at that time kept showing us the highlights of News, Sports, and Politics and were the source of our big time moments with Stars, and big league Baseball Players.
I went to see the greatest all around Major league Baseball player at that time in 1950 and 60s. Willie Mays who was a better Baseball player than center fielder Mickey Mantle, of the New York Yankees.
But Mays never really received the recognition that he deserve back then. Even though Willie Mays could run, catch - hit and throw with the best baseball players in history.
That Mickey Mantle could only hit with the best.
Mays was a center fielder for the New York Giant who would move to San Francisco, California.
"Say hey what you say" that's what Willie Mays said to me in the old Pelican Stadium center field - New York Giants exhibition game. And we started eating some fried chicken together 1952 New Orleans Louisiana, I was 12 years old.
I said how are you doing Willie as the overflow crowd pushed me into center field where Mays were truly boss man. Willie look at me and said, "you have any more of that great fried chicken?" I said "sure" handing him my basket of legs and thighs.--------
