Since Ronald Raegan Presidency when conservative politics was clearly expressed by the people living in that time. Like William F Buckley, Charles Krauthammer, and Ronald Reagan among other the Republican party desired to run and that the American people elected George H.W. Bush 41st, President of the United States.
The Democrats then nominated Bill Clinton to run against George Bush trying to deny Bush a second term.
Bill Clinton defeated Bush becoming the 42nd, President of the United Staes.
The Republican Party nominated Senator Robert Dole to run against Bill Clinton, Senator Dole failed very badly. Bill Clinton served two terms. January 20, 1993-January 20, 2001.
So the Republican Party nominated George W. Bush to run against the Democrats Senator John Kerry. George W. Bush became the 43rd, President of the United States serving two terms January 20, 2001-January 20, 2009.
The Democrats nominated Barack Obama and the Republican Party nominated John McCain. Senator Barack Obama became the 44th, President of the United States.
The Republican Party nominated Mitt Romney to run against President Barack Obama second term. President Barack Obama won.
Now the American people had the Democrats Party nominate Hillary Clinton against the Republican Partys nominee Donald Trump.
Donald Trump became the 45th, President of the United States.
