Robin Elliott Robert Sparks - Yes, he went mad in the end, but initially he was motivated to rebuild Germany, which he did. Then he went mad. Had he not gone mad and second-guessed his generals, had he left Japan out of the war, he would have won, because the US wouldn't have got involved had they not been attacked by Japan; they were just making money off England on the "lease loan."
