How do you like the proof of the results in our
Washington DC government pudding so far America. And they have the nerve
to talk bad about the leadership ability of other people.
Have you ever seen more interest on our skin color
and sexual behavior in all of your life, as the more serious aspects of
our society get worse and worse?
If I see another political TV celebrity putting on the scripted TV propaganda
bull talk show that has been shown again, and again, to the American
people as the TV Network news reporter broadcast that horrible TV poll
driven production to America yet one more time I will simply scream.
Benghazi cover up, fox news reporter DOJ investigation, IRS harassing the American citizens, NSA Edward Snowden leaks, Ben Bernanke Federal Reserve Bank printing new money after bad. and now a Syria intervention.

How can the American people believe anything that the American politicians say from now on is truly beyond me?

"I have come to the conclusion that even I don’t care what the President of the United States was doing that night," Ailes said in his remarks while accepting the prestigious Bradley Award. "However, I would like to know what the Commander-in-Chief was doing that night."
Ailes noted Fox News Channel finished its 137th consecutive month in first place in cable news and said part of the reason for the network's success is that it relentlessly covers news stories like Benghazi "we know others will not."
"We covered Benghazi when four Americans were killed, even though no other network would touch the story," Ailes said. "It’s an important story because it involves two hundred years of our military ethos, which is: If we ask you to go out in the middle of the night and risk your life for America, we promise that we will backstop you. And, try to get you out if it is humanly possible. In Benghazi we did not do that."
Ailes and Fox News were ultimately vindicated when evidence came to light that the Benghazi attacks did not occur due to a spontaneous response to an anti-Islam video. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton both implied that an anti-Islam video was responsible for the attacks even though evidence now suggests they both clearly knew that was not the case.
Four Americans lost lives last September due to a terrorist attack. The Obama administration, which was in an election year, immediately altered talking points and changed its story about when it knew the attacks may have been related to terror.
Obama's schedule on the night of the attacks has not been released, and questions remain about whether he gave the "stand down" order to prevent troops from aiding Americans who were under attack, or if he was even briefed about the attacks in real time. Obama promptly attended a fundraiser and campaign events in Las Vegas the day after the attacks.
The Bradley Foundation awarded Ailes the Bradley Award, which honors visionaries like Ailes "who shape America" before a packed audience at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Ailes said he would match the $250,000 prize awarded to him and donate it to charity.
Former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, former U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement, and National Affairs founding editor Yuval Levin also were honored this year. Past honorees include Jeb Bush, Thomas Sowell, and Victor Davis Hanson.

the investigation.
Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH): "Can you tell me who the lead investigator is?"
Jordan: "It's the most important issue in front of the country in the last six weeks, and you don't know who's heading up the case? Who the lead investigator is?"
Mueller: "At this juncture, no, I do not know."
Mueller also claimed ignorance when Rep. Jordan asked him if anyone had contacted the victims of the IRS scandal.

The LSU baseball team landed in Omaha yesterday and were greeted by a throng of Tiger Fans as they began a new College World Series chapter in the book of LSU baseball. The team practiced at Bellevue East High School yesterday and will step onto the field at TD Ameritrade Park for the first time at 2 p.m. today for an official team photo followed by interviews with ESPN. The Tigers will then go through their official practice from 3-4 p.m., which is open to the public. A 30-minute autograph session immediately follows batting practice on the concourse from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Mainieri joins head coaches from UCLA, North Carolina and North Carolina State earlier in the day for an NCAA press conference at 11 a.m. Friday concludes with the College World Series Opening Ceremonies where all eight teams will parade out onto the field. A concert from O.A.R. precedes the event, while the night wraps up with a firework show. All events are free to the public.
The main event, CWS baseball, will get underway tomorrow and the first two games will be Oregon State vs. Mississippi State at 2 p.m. (ESPN2), followed by Louisville vs. Indiana at 7 p.m. (ESPN). As most of you know, LSU's first action won’t be until Sunday at 7 p.m. when they take on a very good UCLA team on ESPN2 in primetime.
Yesterday I mentioned the starting pitchers for Sunday contest and wrote a little about the Buins’ ace pitcher Adam Plutko. What I didn't mention is that that UCLA also features a solid bullpen, including one of the nation’s top closers in David Berg (7-0) who is second in the nation with 21 saves and an incredible ERA of 0.88. Other key bullpen pitchers include James Kaprielian and Zack Weis who typically pitch the seventh and eighth innings respectively, before Berg comes in and closes things out in the ninth. If the Tigers find themselves behind late in the game, these three could make it very difficult to rally from behind. Of course, LSU has a very strong bullpen too, but with Aaron Nola on the mound I'm hoping our bullpen can be rested in the Tigers fist game, as they are likely to be needed more in the second.
Speaking of Aaron Nola, yesterday he and Alex Bregman were named first team All-American's by Perfect Game. Mason Katz was named to the second team while Chris Cotton was named to the third team. So far, Nola has been named to the first team of every All-American team released, and if that continues he would be the first consensus first team All American at LSU since Louis Coleman in 2009.
In football news, the team has been busy with strength and conditioning drills this week, and as far as I know all of the incoming signees are taking part in the workouts except for Rashard Robinson (CB, 6'2", 165, Pompano Beach, FL) and Frank Herron (DE, 6'5", 235, Memphis, TN). Robinson is taking a couple of summer classes in order to bring up his GPA and is expected to report to LSU in time for fall camp, which is 53 days away. Herron's arrival has been delayed by the NCAA clearinghouse. Reports are that he is hopeful of being cleared any day now.
In other football news, Athlon’s SEC Football 2013 All-Conference Team was published yesterday and two Tigers made the first team on defense. The two are defensive tackle Anthony Johnson and safety Craig Loston. Linebacker Lamin Barrow made second team while wide receiver Odell Beckham made third team. Jarvis Landry also made third team as a punt returner. What I found most interesting and a bit humorous is that they named Jeremy Hill as a fourth team running back. If Hill's isn’t kicked off the team and plays this year, I can guarantee you that his play will warrant at least second team honors, if not first.
With the start of football season 78 days away, today we'll continue our jersey countdown by taking a look at two former All-Amercans at LSU who wore No. 78 - George Rice and Ronnie Estay. Rice was originally from Mississippi but grew up in Baton Rouge where he was a three-sport athlete in high school - football, basketball and track. As a Tiger, Rice was one of the strongest and most dominating tackles to ever play at LSU. He played in three bowl games for the Tigers and was named first team All-SEC as a junior and an All-American as a senior. Rice went on to be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft by the Chicago Bears. He decided to sign with the Houston Oilers of the AFL and played for the Oilers for four seasons. Rice died on December 26 at his home in Sealy, Texas at the age of 66. As for Estay, he played at LSU from 1969-71 and was one of the quickest defensive linemen to ever play. During his junior year he tackled both quarterbacks Pat Sullivan of Auburn and Archie Manning of Ole Miss for safeties. As a senior he made first team All-SEC and All-American. Unfortunately, a few years ago Estay was diagnosed with cancer. If any of you know of Estay's current status, please let me know.

"LSU on its way back to CWS" - ESPN (Posted on 6/13/13 at 2:42 pm)
quote: ESPN
quote:
BATON ROUGE, La. -- After LSU failed to make the College World Series for a third straight season in 2012, head coach Paul Mainieri called infielder Mason Katz and asked him if he wanted to accept an invitation to participate in the CWS home run derby.
Katz gladly accepted.
"And [Mainieri] said 'Good, I want you to have experience there for when you take the team there next year,'" Katz recalled.
"At LSU, the goal is to win national championships," said outfielder Raph Rhymes who, along with Katz, is a senior who opted to return to school for his senior season rather than leave for pro ball specifically in an effort to get to Omaha for the first time in their college careers.
"Anything less than that and all that other stuff doesn't matter."
quote:
"That's what gives me a lot of confidence about the team," Mainieri said. "I just feel like they've had a lot thrown at them and they've been able to keep their focus and their concentration when they need to."
LSU may not have played a game at TD Ameritrade Park yet, but the Tigers certainly carry themselves like they belong.
ETA: Thought it was published today. It was yesterday, but I hadn't read it. If posted already, whatever
