A 29-year-old employee of Booz Allen Hamilton named Edward Snowden has been revealed as the source of this week's revelations from the National Security Agency, The Guardian reports.
In a 12-minute interview recorded in Hong Kong, Snowden reveals his motives for leaking the secrets to the press and even more about what goes on inside the NSA.
Booz Allen has confirmed Snowden has been an employee in their Hawaii office for less than three months.

In a note accompanying the first set of
documents he provided, he wrote: "I understand that I will be made to
suffer for my actions," but "I will be satisfied if the federation of
secret law, unequal pardon and irresistible executive powers that rule
the world that I love are revealed even for an instant."

So is it any wonder then that in 2013 a lot of today's population also believes in what is going on in today's American society. That some American citizens really need to believe in the religious emotional feeling about the stars and stripes.
That even if the US government in Washington DC is having the American government CIA secretly recording each and every communication of the American citizens by this CIA terror watch policy is still OK with some of them in 2013?

Because after all this is still their country right or wrong to them.
and their personal privacy has nothing to do with the spiritual faith in America.
I have never felt that strongly like that before because I don't blindly follow anyone or thing just because I have been conditioned to. I think that using our five natural senses is still the best policy when trying to survive in order to keep living. No matter what the people running this country say and do.
I just wonder what did the words life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness mean in the declaration of independence. Don't we truly have the inherent right given to us from God to be left alone from our country's government, or don't we?

The American government in the person of
president Barack Obama said the CIA secret surveillance program is not
reading your emails, but rather just recording the moment used.
I heard Charles Krauthammer said on TV "if the government
sees a email that a terror suspect wrote, the US government would be
insane not to read it." So in that logical realism, I don't believe that
secretly spying on every American citizen is a good thing at all.

Peters was speaking to Brian Kilmeade on "Fox and Friends," and argued that no Americans have been hurt by the secret government surveillance programs that Snowden exposed.
“Now you’ve got this 29-year-old high school dropout whistleblower making foreign policy for our country, our security policy,” he lamented. “It’s sad, Brian. We’ve made treason cool. Betraying your country is kind of a fashion statement. He wants to be the national security Kim Kardashian. He cites Bradley Manning as a hero.”
Peters continued, “I mean, we need to get very, very serious about treason. And oh by the way, for treason — as in the case of Bradley Manning or Edwards Snowden — you bring back the death penalty.”
Glenn Beck, who hailed Snowden as a "hero," said he was "shocked" by the comments on Monday.
Peters has made similar incendiary remarks in the past, once famously declaring that Julian Assange should be assassinated. Read more...http://www.

Dandy Don's LSU Sports Report
I hope all of you enjoyed your Sunday reveling in the fact
that the LSU baseball team will be returning to Omaha for the first time
since 2009. Tiger fans are not the only ones excited about LSU
making it to the CWS, as the city of Omaha and its businesses know very
well what it means to have LSU coming to town and are almost as excited
as we are. I know that a lot of you are making plans to attend, so I’d
like to put together a page of things to do and see while in Omaha, but I
can’t do it without your help. If you have suggestions for the Tiger
Nation, please send them my way so that I can compile a page.
Several of you have asked me how to go about getting tickets for the CWS. LSU baseball season ticket holders can apply for series tickets online at www.LSUtix.net, in person or by calling (225) 578-2184 by 5 p.m. CT today. General admission tickets can also be purchased directly from the College World Series, and more info on how to do that can be found here. If you are fortunate enough to find yourself with extra tickets on your hands that you would like to get rid of, please be sure to send me a note so I can post your ad on our Ticket Exchange page.
Now that most of the Super Regionals have been completed, the bracket for the College World Series is starting to shape up, and after today's conclusions of the Super Regionals, the stage will be set. At this time, LSU, UCLA, North Carolina State, Louisville and Indiana have punched their tickets to Omaha. (You may have noticed that Vanderbilt's name was not listed – their season came to an end yesterday when Louisville upset them 5-3.) Later today, after all the Supers are complete, game times and order of play will be announced on ESPN and at www.NCAA.com/cw.
LSU’s first test will be against a UCLA team that swept the Cal State Fullerton Super Regional and is 44-17 on the season. We'll take a closer look at UCLA and what they’re made of as the week progresses, but for now I'll just point out that they don’t have anyone on their team batting over .279, and that ought to bode well for LSU's chances with Aaron Nola on the mound. Nola and the entire LSU pitching staff were outstanding last weekend as evident in the following key stats I put together about the Tigers performance in the Super Regional.
LSU’s Combined Stats from the Two Super Regional Games
Runs = 13
Runs allowed = 1
Hits = 22
Hits allowed = 7
Errors = 1
Team Batting Ave. = .314
Jacoby Jones = 5/7 (.714), 2 RBI
Mark Laird = 5/9 (.555), 1 RBI
Attendance = 22,496 (11,095, 11,401)
I was really happy to see Jacoby Jones finally play up to his potential. Before the weekend he was hitting only .192, but we all knew that he was a special talent capable of greatness. Maybe it was getting drafted in the 3rd round by Pittsburg that sparked his confidence and made the difference... I don’t know. Whatever it was, I sure hope it carries over into CWS play.
Speaking of the draft, many of you asked how big of a hit LSU took with the current players and the 2013 signees. Of the nine draftees on the current roster, Katz, Rhymes and Cotton are seniors, so we knew they wouldn’t be back. Eades, Jones, LaMarche and Rumbelow will almost certainly go pro, as they were drafted too high to pass on the opportunity. My guess is that Ross and Ibarra will return, but that is questionable. As for the 2013 Signees Class, I’d say LSU came out very good. The only two who LSU will almost certainly lose are Justin Williams and David Palladino.
In men's basketball news, last week Coach Johnny Jones hired Korey McCray to fill the void left by Robert Kirby. With all the excitement of LSU baseball, the news went largely unnoticed, to myself included, but the more I read about McCray the more I like the hire. Like Kirby, McCray's strength is as a recruiter. The 34-year old from Decateur, Georgia, who most recently served as an assistant on the UCLA staff has deep connections on the AAU level, especially in the state of Georgia, and, according to this article by Rene Nadeau of SportsNOLA, he also has connections to a big-time LSU target. The target I'm referring to is St. Augustine's 4-star power forward Craig Victor (6'8", 215), who is rated No. 4 nationally at his position in the 2014 recruiting class.
Before moving on to our daily countdown to football season, I want to do something that I should have done yesterday, that is to give big props to LSU's Kimbery Duncan for making history at the NCAA Track and Field Championships. Duncan won the 200-meters with a time of 22.04, which ties the NCAA record set by former Tiger Dawn Sowell, and in doing so she became the first NCAA athlete to claim the 200-meter national title three years in a row.
Okay, now let's continue our jersey countdown to the start of football season, which is 82 days away. While there are many great Tigers who wore No. 82 (Don Norwood, David Jones, Abner Wimberly, Wendell Davis, James Wright, and others), today the focus is on Wendell Davis. Davis played split end at LSU ('84-'87) and made All-American in 1986 and '87. Thinking of all the great receivers who played at LSU, it could be argued that Davis is a Top Cat for his career contributions. Davis wrote the book in many ways (when he left LSU he was the SEC's most productive receiver ever with 2,708 yards) and brought great charisma to the team in that electrifying Hodson-Davis combo. Flashback to 1986 when Notre Dame paid a visit to Tiger Stadium. Hodson and Davis kept the Irish defense reeling, and in the fourth quarter the Tigers had a 21-19 lead. In an intense finish, Hodson connected with Davis on two 3rd and long conversions to keep drives alive and allow LSU to control the clock to end the game with a win. Or, the '87 Gator Bowl against South Carolina and their “Black Death” defense. All the pundits had chalked this game up as a W for the Gamecocks. With an offensive plan to use eight blockers and only two receivers, the Tigers kept Hodson out of the pressure cooker and Davis took advantage of the one-on-one coverage by the secondary. He carved up the Black Death for three touchdowns and was named MVP in the 30-13 win. (I've added a video recap of that '87 Gator Bowl to our Media Gallery.) Davis went on to play for the Chicago Bears until an incredulous game at Philly in which he tore up both knees on the same play. Davis was inducted into the LSU Hall of Fame in September 2011.
