Well
how do you like your country government now? Are you thrilled that the
American people who never had medical insurance before can now get it
because of Obama care. Or is the reality of getting screwed around by
the United States government just too expensive, and too much to bare.
How do you feel about your government
playing you for a fool, someone to keep the governments real truth
from, and are you proud to be a American chump to all the sly trick of
the Washington DC politicians trade?
And how do you feel about our glorious American
news media, is their celebrity star power still exciting, and would you
be thrilled to invite them over for cocktail.
And go run out to the nearest Bookstore to buy their latest Book.

For a story that the White House ("happened a long time ago") and our last two Secretaries of State ("what difference does it make?" / "more important things to worry about") insist is basically over, the Benghazi attack continues to make headlines. CNN is reporting that at least three
Al Qaeda operatives took part in the 9/11 raid. The administration
knew within the first few hours of the assault that it was the work of
radical Islamist terrorism. How long have they known that the specific
organization that attacked America in 2001 was directly involved?

For Christ sakes! If I could get a scholarship to go to LSU and play
college football, because I could run like the wind. And that I would have
it made in the state of Louisiana for the rest of my life. I would not
get caught doing this, ever. "battery and simple criminal damage to
property after he allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat and pushed her
to the sofa".
No! I would count my blessing instead, but of course I was raised with the right attitude that help me make the best choice in trying to live out our life as best we can.
That kind of behavior is not only against the law, but embarrassingly immature. And I was looking forward to meeting Jeryl Brazil one day...Jesus Christ!

NOTEBOOK: LSU freshman Jeryl Brazil suspended indefinitely after arrest
10/23/2013 3:17:00 PM
By LUKE JOHNSON
Tiger Rag Associate Editor
LSU
freshman Jeryl Brazil was arrested last week for simple battery and
simple criminal damage to property after he allegedly grabbed a woman by
the throat and pushed her to the sofa on October 18.
Brazil
was also accused of punching a hole in the wall before leaving the
apartment, according to LSU police department spokesman Capt. Corey
LaLonde. The arrest was first reported by the LSU student newspaper, The Daily Reveille.
LSU coach Les Miles announced in his Wednesday evening press conference that Brazil would be suspended indefinitely.
"He'll have to sort this out," Miles said. "It's his responsibility."
It
is the second time Brazil has been arrested in his freshman year, the
first coming in September after he got in a fight at the loading dock of
an LSU dining hall.
According
to The Daily Reveille's report, Brazil was upset about events that
occurred earlier in the day. He was apprehended shortly after the
incident at West Campus Apartments.
Brazil
was originally recruited by LSU as a defensive back, but earned some
playing time as a running back early in the season as coaches tried to
take advantage of his sprinter speed. Brazil's only two career carries
came against UAB, when he toted the ball twice for 10 yards.
COPELAND PROBABLY OUT
LSU fullback J.C. Copeland is likely to miss his second consecutive game.
"I don't know that he'll be with us Saturday," Miles said.
Copeland suffered a concussion after he slipped when leaving the shower at LSU's practice facility last week.
BACKUP PLAN
With
Furman coming to town and a senior quarterback soon to be on his way
out, many people are hoping to see what true freshman quarterback
Anthony Jennings can do running the LSU offense.
Miles said he’s open to using Jennings, but was unclear whether he’d actually get in the game against Furman.
"Our
second-team quarterback is always that guy that’s in position to play
and play a lot of football should something happen, and we would like to
see Anthony Jennings specifically,” Miles said. "We would expect that
Anthony Jennings would want to see some action, and we’d like to have
him see some action in this game.”
If
he were to see his first extensive action, it would be in place of
starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger, who thinks Jennings has what it
takes to lead the team should he get injured.
"A
lot of the things we work on every day in practice are for that
scenario and situation,” Mettenberger said. "He is a freshman, but
freshmen play big roles here. If he were thrown into that situation,
he’d do a great job.”
Jennings
has seen the field in five games this year, mostly in garbage time and
in situations that call for a quarterback sneak. On the season he’s
completed his only pass for 15 yards, and has ran the ball seven times
for 14 yards and a touchdown.
KNIGHTED
There
might be some confused people in the stands Saturday, wondering what
exactly Furman’s "Paladin” mascot is. Don’t count Mettenberger among
them.
"A
Paladin is a knight,” Mettenberger said. "I used to go to Furman camps
every summer as a child, so I know a Paladin very well.”
The Furman campus in Greenville, S.C., is "an hour and 27 minutes” away from Mettenberger’s Watkinsville, Ga., home.
"DINNER DATE”
Mettenberger
chose not to attend a media session Monday afternoon, leading to some
speculation that he was perhaps still too upset to speak about his
three-interception game against Ole Miss.
Not the case, said Mettenberger.
"I had dinner plans,” Mettenberger deadpanned. "A dinner date, yeah.”
His dinner plans were interrupted when he spoke to members of the media on Tuesday.
"I’ve got Taco Tuesday tonight, and y’all are killing me.”
QUOTABLE
"I
was preaching before the season that we have the potential and the
opportunity to be one of the best teams or one of the worst. I strongly
believe that. We’ve been on a line the whole season, playing bad and
playing good. It’s in the back half of the season, but I still feel like
we’ve yet to reach our goal.”

And just like that, Chris Low has caught up with me. It took him long enough, but he's finally back up here with the big boys.
Congrats. Maybe, he realized that he should put more time and effort into his picks rather than his dwindling golf game.
I have to respect his decisions lately. He has shown that he truly is a veteran when it comes to this stuff. He has bested me the past couple of weeks, and I've made some careless decisions.
Last week, we both went under the .500 mark, but Chris tied things up by correctly picking Missouri over Florida -- a pick I missed on. Really, SEC? You really had four major upsets in the same weekend? I mean, who saw that coming?
Chris went 2-4 pull even with me at 60-11 (.845), while I went 1-5. Not our best work, but things sure are interesting now. I can tell you that I won't be sleeping on Chris any longer. I admittedly laughed at a few of his picks this year, and it has come back to bite me.
But today is a new day. We're basically at 0-0 and I'm hungry for back-to-back championships.
Let's get to the picks:
Thursday

KENTUCKY at MISSISSIPPI STATE
Chris Low: Both of these teams are looking for their first SEC win of the season. Kentucky has lost 13 in a row on the road in the SEC. It’s a game Mississippi State has to have if the Bulldogs are going to have any chance of making a fourth straight bowl appearance. The home crowd will be the difference. … Mississippi State 27, Kentucky 21
Edward Aschoff: Both of these teams need this victory. The Bulldogs are looking to stay on the bowl path, while the Wildcats need some sort of momentum to this season. Kentucky won't be a pushover, but the Bulldogs should take care of business at home. … Mississippi State 34, Kentucky 21
Saturday

FURMAN at LSU
Low: It’s one of those weeks in the SEC where there are more than a few mismatches. Here’s another one in Tiger Stadium. LSU won’t be in the best of moods after losing last week on the road and will take out some frustration on their FCS foes. … LSU 45, Furman 13
Aschoff: The Tigers have to be frustrated after that loss at Ole Miss. Well, what a way to take out that frustration than to devour a cupcake at home surrounded by the lights of Tiger Stadium. … LSU 51, Furman 10

IDAHO at OLE MISS
Low: Despite being ravaged with injuries, Ole Miss was able to gut out a key victory at home last week over LSU. The Rebels are still banged up and even added a few more players to the injury list, but it won’t matter this week. … Ole Miss 48, Idaho 7
Aschoff: You know the Rebels are flying sky high after their upset win over LSU. Now, Ole Miss gets to add to the win total with a visit from the 1-6 Vandals. … Ole Miss 48, Idaho 10

FLORIDA ATLANTIC at AUBURN
Low: Don’t look now, but Auburn is rolling right along with visions of contending in the Western Division this season. The Tigers get a breather out of conference this week and will rack up more than 40 points for the third straight game. … Auburn 41, Florida Atlantic 14
Aschoff: A week removed from their major upset of Texas A&M, the Tigers get a chance to get some more of those youngsters out on the field with Florida Atlantic welcoming this team back to the Plains. … Auburn 45, Florida Atlantic 17

VANDERBILT at TEXAS A&M
Low: Neither team is 100 percent at the quarterback position. The Aggies expect Johnny Manziel to play despite a painful shoulder injury, and it looks like backup Patton Robinette is the man for the Commodores after Austyn Carta-Samuels went down last week with a leg injury. If you like offense (and not a lot of defense), this is your game. The Aggies are just too explosive on offense to lose two in a row at home. … Texas A&M 42, Vanderbilt 30
Aschoff: Both of these teams are literally hurting at quarterback, but you know Johnny Football will try his hardest to make it back to the playing field. The Aggies certainly can't sleep on this Vanderbilt team, especially with that struggling defense, but with or without Manziel under center, A&M just has too much offensively to lose two straight. … Texas A&M 41, Vanderbilt 28

TENNESSEE at ALABAMA
Low: The last time Alabama was remotely pushed in a football game was six weeks ago when the Crimson Tide survived the 49-42 shootout against Texas A&M. Their October schedule has been about as cushy as it gets. They get an improving Tennessee team, but the Vols aren’t ready to go into Tuscaloosa and win. … Alabama 35, Tennessee 9
Aschoff: Alabama hasn't had to deal with much competition at all this month and has allowed just 10 points in the past four games. Tennessee is riding high off that upset of South Carolina, and will push the Tide … in the first half. The Crimson Tide will cruise through the second half of this game like it's cruised through the rest of the month. … Alabama 38, Tennessee 13

SOUTH CAROLINA at MISSOURI
Low: With Connor Shaw ailing, Steve Spurrier says backup quarterback Dylan Thompson will start this week for South Carolina. Missouri didn’t miss a beat last week with backup Maty Mauk filling in for James Franklin. The Tigers can take a commanding lead in the Eastern Division race with a win, but the Gamecocks will make enough plays on defense to keep things interesting in the East with their biggest win of the season. … South Carolina 31, Missouri 27
Aschoff: These Tigers have everything going for them and with a win on Saturday, they will essentially win the East. But now the pressure is on. South Carolina is hurting after a loss to Tennessee and is now dealing with Shaw's injury. The offense and defense are clicking for the Tigers, but they haven't met a team as balanced as South Carolina, and Mike Davis will be the difference. … South Carolina 31, Missouri 24
--------------------Congrats. Maybe, he realized that he should put more time and effort into his picks rather than his dwindling golf game.

This isn't just another SEC game for Mizzou, this is Homecoming. No way they come out flat footed against SC or get held below 30. Mizzou wins by 10.
Michael Wood · Top Commenter · The University of Alabama
How can you even make a case for SCe beating MIzzou? The game is in Columbus, SCe is coming off a loss having traveled to UT, meaning they've basically had 5-1/2 days to get ready for this game. Mizzou's rush defense is sick and Davis will be lucky to break 100 rushing yards. Dylan Thomas makes them more "real" in taking away the read option that Shaw runs. Mizzou wins this game by 10 points, and by the way, SCe has NO CB's that can match up with the height of the Mizzou WR's

These guys give no logical reasons for their SC picks. Nice analyst work. Have they even watched Mizzou play? Maybe they caught highlights of the UGA and UF games. I HAVE watched all of the Mizzou games and almost all of USC's games. USC showed poor execution and confusion on many of their offensive plays against UT. Not to mention they couldn't move the ball at all once Shaw went out. Contrast this with when Franklin went down in Athens, Mizzou scored two touchdowns after his injury. Mizzou has dealt much better with adversity. Furthermore, UT doesn't have near the pass-rush Mizzou has. The reason teams have had such gaudy passing numbers against Mizzou is because they have had to completely abandon the run because it was consistently getting stuffed and they already way down and we had gone to a soft, play-not-to-lose defense. Look at yards per pass attempt for a more telling stat on our pass defense. Mizzou wins by at least 13 points.
