CBS's Bob Schieffer Falsely Claims 'Polls Say That Most People Favor' ObamaCare
By Brent Baker, Newsbusters.org
In defiance of reality illustrated in numerous polls, on Sunday’s Face the Nation, host Bob Schieffer scolded Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn when she correctly asserted “there is only partisan support” for ObamaCare. Schieffer cut her off: “Well now Congresswoman, that’s not entirely true. The polls don’t suggest that. Polls say that most people favor it.”
In fact, more have disapproved than approved of ObamaCare since it was passed, as confirmed in a new CBS News/New York Times survey released Wednesday night, September 25:
Opinions of the health care law overall continue to be negative. With health insurance exchanges set to open up for enrollment on Oct. 1, 39 percent of Americans now approve of the health care law, but more – 51 percent – disapprove, similar to views in July. Since the law was enacted in 2010, more have disapproved than approved of it.

Tinker:
What a ugly old man Bob Schieffer is turning out to be, locked into a narrow minded life like his, a hypocrite of the real kind. Now I know why the french people kept chopping so many aristocrats to death in the heat of the 1793 french revolution.
Because of people like Bob Schieffer drinking and talking bad about the French or American citizens as he partied inside with the monarchy in the palace of Versailles, or 2013 Washington DC. As everyone outside Versailles or Washington DC suffered the hard reality of poverty. Now I know why the french people was so blood thirsty over the french aristocrats, back then.

Obamacare is an unmitigated disaster.
It was passed illegally without the House ever voting on the Senate bill and became law absent a single Republican vote -- even "the girls from Maine" and "the girl from Arizona" -- the only major legislation ever enacted on a strict party-line vote. The Supreme Court had to violate the Constitution's separation of powers to uphold Obamacare as a "tax" -- despite the fact that no elected body could ever have enacted such a massive tax hike even with the sleazy parliamentary tricks used to pass this bill.
Proving that everyone hates it, Congress has now exempted itself from Obamacare's provisions, having asked for, and received, a waiver from President Obama.

CRUZ CONTROL SHOULD BE STANDARD ON GOP MODELS

If I could briefly interrupt the Republican firing squad aiming
at Ted Cruz, let's talk about something we all agree on. And by "we
all," I mean a majority of the American people, the Teamsters, many
Democrats and every single last Republican.

Dandy Don's LSU Sports Report
We’ll start today’s update with a bit of good news on the recruiting front: LSU picked up its 15th commitment for the class of 2014 last night from Davon Godchaux (DL, 6'4", 265, Plaquemine Senior High, No. 12 on my list of Top LA football Prospects). Godchaux has great speed and a very impressive build, and he really stood out among the crowd during the two occasions when I watched him at LSU’s summer camps. Godchaux is listed as a strong-side defensive end but has the frame to potentially grow into a tackle. Unfortunately, Godchaux suffered a season-ending injury a few weeks ago and recently underwent surgery for a torn ACL. He is expected to be fully rehabilitated within eight months, and I know I speak for the Tiger Nation when I wish him a speedy recovery. With Godchaux’s verbal, LSU now has 15 football commitments for 2014.

Time has not made LSU’s poor defensive performance in its 44-41 loss to Georgia sit any better in LSU coach Les Miles’ stomach.
That being said, Miles sounded confident that the weaknesses the Bulldogs routinely exploited at Sanford Stadium were fixable.
"We recognized that we played a very quality opponent,” Miles said at his weekly press luncheon on Monday. "I don't think there's any reason for wholesale change yet.”
Wholesale change might’ve been ruled out, but the game did provide the Tigers a glimpse into some things that could be open for tinkering and tweaking.
Playing in a tight game against the Bulldogs, LSU didn’t empty its bench defensively as it had earlier in the season. Twenty-two defensive players saw action against Georgia, but a number of them only played on special teams.
That might change this week.
"One of the things we're going to want to do is get some fresh bodies out there with the veterans,” Miles said. "If we can get some young guys ready to take more snaps in games like that, the veterans get to play a little bit fresher, more ready to play.
"We're looking for those guys that can come in and give five snap breaks, if you will. If we can get that done, that will make the whole defense a little bit fresher.”
Could Georgia’s destruction of LSU’s defense at this early stage of the season actually have been a good thing? The door is still open for the Tigers to secure a spot in the Southeastern Conference championship game with still-remaining contests against Alabama, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.
All three of those teams’ offenses have proven capable of dropping 40 points with relative ease. The disaster in Athens could have provided the LSU coaching staff the example it needed to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
"I think there's the opportunity now to maybe address some things that needed addressing and turn our attention more fully to them this week,” Miles said. "We're confident in the things that we do, yet there's some things we need to get accomplished and be better at. I think that will put us in the right frame of mind.”
That same thought could be applied in the opposite direction, however. Maybe LSU’s defense did nothing but prove what it actually is against Georgia. Miles was not ready to say that just yet.
"We have good players,” Miles said. "We like our players. Our coaches are in it with our players. We're not going to get other guys. We're going to coach the ones we got. I think the review and the view will be good.”
DAK ATTACK
The main man the LSU defense will focus on stopping might just be quarterback Dak Prescott, who’s played marvelously since filling in for injured senior Tyler Russell.
Prescott has thrown for 709 yards and has added another 215 on the ground, and as of Monday was still listed ahead of Russell on the depth chart, though Russell reportedly has a clean bill of health.
The Haughton, La., native was on LSU’s radar as a senior in high school, but LSU got into the game too late, offering him a scholarship after he had already committed to Mississippi State. Prescott and LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger were part of the same 2011 signing class.
"I think Dak is a guy that can run it, throw it,” Miles said. "Very bright guy. We liked him. He chose to go to another direction.”
MUFFED
Junior wide receiver Odell Beckham’s muffed punt against Georgia proved to be costly in a game LSU lost by three points, but it’s not going to prompt a change from Miles.
Beckham will remain deep to return punts for the Tigers, where he has thrived this season outside of the fumble in Athens.
"He's a gifted football player, maybe the best return guy in the country,” Miles said. "I have not seen him all, but I like him,” Miles said. "He will continue to be that guy for us.
"Sometimes he wants to make that great return. If he would have fair caught that one, no one would have complained in any way.”
SET YOUR SCHEDULE
Next week’s home contest against Florida will be televised on CBS and kickoff will go at approximately 2:30 p.m.
STATS EXTRA
Junior running back Jeremy Hill leads the Southeastern Conference in scoring per game, with a 10.5 points per game average … Beckham is leading the conference in all-purpose yardage by almost 60 yards per game … The Tigers have racked up the second-most penalty yards in the conference this season … LSU’s 59 percent conversion rate on third down leads the SEC … LSU has the SEC’s fourth ranked passing offense (281.8 yards per game) and the 11th ranked rushing offense (192.2 yards per game). Raise your hand if you saw that one coming.

There is no argument:
Pictures tell a thousand words so repeating what everyone already knows is nothing more then spinning the obvious, one way or the other. LSU need to play better on defense, that they couldn't do that when they needed to the most. Trying to stop the Georgia Bulldog says that this LSU football team in 2013 is not a good defensive college football team. That if LSU players against another good college football teams offense, LSU could lose the game again, because they can't stop the other team.
The experienced talented players from last year's LSU defense went to the NFL and have not been replaced with defenders who can do the job as good, or better.
If I was a LSU coach I would say very little and keep working hard to get the men to understand their job.
