No! The Washington DC deal is bright and clear to everyone living in American today.

Tinker:

I feel like singing the song Red Red Wine, because like the guy in the song I am feeling alone trying to get our not so faithful United States government to do what is right for the American people. So I am left sipping my red red wine with the memories that won't go away.

These Washington DC politicians are very hard for me to listen to these days because every time a reporter interviews a Washington DC politician, both the reporter and politician sound like the same worn out broken record, mouthing the same phoney words to a TV show that keep replaying, and replaying. What can you and me do with lying low down power crazy people like them.

The TV networks and politicians have the people of the United States over a public airways barrel and the people running the TV networks and US government will not give up their advantages away to the American public anytime soon.

The media and its master, the US government, is hiding the real issues. The Federal Reserve Bank is spending the American people government into a economical Hell, that will take the American people generations to pay off.

We the American People are taking the children and grandchildren over the money cliff knowing that they are going to land in the hell of our own making, that they will suffer over.
We the TV Networks, Washington DC, and the American people living in 2013 have ours don't we, because I have never seen so many rich poor people before in my life.

Even the people not working are eating high on the hog driving cars and relaxing in front of computers, TV's, and I phones. No! The Washington DC deal is bright and clear to everyone living in America today, the government supplies the American people just enough to get by on, in a conformable way, as the American government gets larger and larger.

Wow! what a terrible phoney TV show this is.

How can I or anyone else get the real important facts about how the American people government is being run. We can't because the power crazy men and women working in Washington DC won't tell us the truth if our life depended on it.

The American people are on their own footing all the bills in Washington DC and nothing much of anything is going to change that anytime soon. We the American people are simply chumps to the men and women working in the United States government office buildings in the city besides the Potomac river.

Washington DC.

Mercy, mercy, mercy, where did our defense go?

All the way into the fourth quarter did I start feeling like LSU could win this Miss State football game. Up until then I was afraid of Miss State everytime they got the football.

LSU defense is but only a shadow of what it once was.

God have mercy on the LSU football fans going to see LSU play football for the rest of this college football season. Because we will be living on a wing and prayer of the LSU offense the rest of the way.

Please LSU score 50 points every game so I can keep breathing a normal life this year.

No. 10 LSU pulls away to beat Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Zach Mettenberger surveyed the field with plenty of time to throw and then delivered a perfect spiral to Odell Beckham Jr., who stopped short of the sideline, spun inside and galloped 33 yards untouched for the touchdown.

It was the ninth and final time the two hooked up for a completion Saturday night. And it proved to be the knockout blow.

LSU's defense, long the backbone of the program, showed little resolve against unranked Mississippi State, writes Alex Scarborough. Blog

Mettenberger threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns, Beckham had 179 yards receiving and two TDs and No. 10 LSU blew past Mississippi State for a 59-26 victory.

It was obvious from the outset that Mississippi State's defense was loading the line of scrimmage to stop the run, daring LSU to throw. The Tigers obliged, grabbing big chunks of yards on the Bulldogs' defense.

"They were playing the run game a little bit hard," Beckham said. "I give all credit to Zach. He's been making all the right plays and all the right reads since the season began."

It was a tight game for three quarters, but Mettenberger's touchdown to Beckham gave LSU a 38-26 lead on the first play of the fourth quarter and Mississippi State couldn't respond.

LSU closed the game on a 31-0 run, including four touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Mettenberger completed 25 of 29 passes in another impressive performance during the senior's breakout season. Beckham was his favorite target -- but Jarvis Landry also caught eight passes for 96 yards.

It was a nearly flawless performance, and helped erase some of the sting of last week's 44-41 loss to Georgia. But Mettenberger said there's still room for improvement.

"There was about two series that I'd like to have back where we took our foot off the gas," Mettenberger said. "We just have to keep playing. We know the potential our receivers have in practice and we just have to keep striving for excellence."

LSU's Jeremy Hill added 157 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Kenny Hilliard added 39 yards rushing and three touchdowns. The Tigers (5-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) have won 14 straight over Mississippi State (2-3, 0-2) dating back to 1999.

"Any time you've got a balanced offense, and they're concerned you're going to throw the football, they're not completely confident in the play they call on defense and you can take advantage of that," LSU coach Les Miles said.

LSU has a 21-1 record under Miles following a loss.

Mississippi State's Dak Prescott threw for 106 yards and rushed for 103 more. Jameon Lewis caught seven passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.

The Bulldogs' offense was good, especially early, but LSU's was even better.

The Tigers' receiver duo of Landry and Beckham was unstoppable, even when Mississippi State appeared to have good coverage, and Mettenberger found them early and often.

"They won just about every one-on-one battle on the edge," Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen said.
The Tigers finished with 563 total yards.

LSU needed all those yards, because the defense was gashed for a second straight week. The Tigers gave up nearly 500 yards last week in a loss to Georgia and Mississippi State had some early success on Saturday with a two-quarterback system.

Prescott started after two weeks of mystery. Mullen said senior Tyler Russell -- who returned after missing three games due to a concussion -- would be the starter after the team's win against Troy on Sept. 21, but waffled on that statement as the LSU game drew closer.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Prescott has been terrific in Russell's place, providing much more of a running threat. On the team's first offensive drive, he rewarded Mullen's confidence with a 28-yard touchdown run to pull the Bulldogs to 7-6.

Russell entered the game early in the second quarter and also had immediate success, throwing a 20-yard touchdown to Lewis to pull Mississippi State to 21-16 in the second quarter.

The Bulldogs took a 23-21 lead on Russell's 59-yard touchdown pass to De'Runnya Wilson, but LSU responded with a 14-yard touchdown pass from Mettenberger to Beckham to take a 28-23 lead into halftime.

Russell's second touchdown pass was the 39th of his career, which set a Mississippi State record. He finished 7 of 11 for 146 yards passing.

The teams combined for 608 total yards in the first half -- 334 for LSU and 274 for Mississippi State.
LSU's defense tightened in the second half, giving up just three points.

"I thought we did a good job of battling for three quarters," Mullen said. "We just didn't finish."

The Tiger offense put on a clinic last night as LSU came away with a big 59-26 SEC road win against Mississippi State. With the win, LSU improved to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the SEC, setting up a big SEC showdown next weekend against the Florida Gators

I said yesterday that I wanted to see LSU make a statement, and on offense they certainly did. What they stated loud and clear is that this LSU offense is for real and as good as any in the country. If you want to beat the Tigers, you’ll have to score a whole lot of points. Piling on 563 yards and 59 points on the road against a pretty good Mississippi State defense is nothing to take lightly.

Once again, Zach Mettenberger was outstanding. On the night he was 25-of-29 for 340 yards with one interception and two touchdowns. Odell Beckham, Jr. led all Tigers in receiving with 179 yards and two touchdowns on nine catches, while Jarvis Landry had 96 yards on eight receptions. I challenge anyone to name a better receiver tandem in the nation than those two. In the rushing department, Jeremy Hill led all Tigers with 157 yards and two touchdowns, and also added 13 yards on three catches. Kenny Hilliard scored three touchdowns on 45 yards but also coughed up the ball deep in MSU territory. Alfred Blue ran for 33 yards and a touchdown, and also had two receptions for 19 yards.

One more thing worth mentioning about the offense is that it scored 28 points in the 4th quarter, and never relinquished even after victory was secured. I stated in yesterday's report that I wanted to see an LSU team leading by 14 or more in the fourth quarter and playing as if they were trailing by six, and I think they did that on both sides of the ball.

I know there are a lot of you, like myself, very concerned about LSU’s problems on defense. As I said last week, the problems are plentiful and not of the type that can be quickly fixed. I still feel that way. However, I do think the defense grew up a bit in the second half of last night’s game. After giving up 23 points in the first half, LSU made some adjustments and allowed only three points in the 2nd half. Those three came on the Bulldog’s first possession of the 3rd quarter and cut LSU’s lead to two. From that point on, LSU’s defense buckled down, made a few big plays and held the Bulldogs scoreless, while LSU’s offense responded with 31 unanswered points. During that time, LSU did a better job of containment, was able to get more pressure on the quarterback, and caused a couple of turnovers - one on downs and one on a gift interception. As for the defensive backs, they looked like a better, more aggressive group in the second half and I was encouraged by the potential I saw from Rashard Robinson and Tredavious White. I was also pleased to see Ronald Martin make a couple of big plays.

Yes, there's still a long, long way to go, but if the defense can progress a bit each week things could get very interesting in November.

Below are a few stats from the game, and here is a video of LSU’s highlights.

I’ll have much more on the game in tomorrow’s report, including my position-by-position grades, and then we’ll turn our attention to next Saturday's game against Florida. Enjoy the win, Tiger Fans!
