It took them eight games to catch on, but better late than never.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani says the nuclear deal reached with world powers recognizes Tehran’s “rights” to maintain an atomic program.
The remarks come just hours after Iranian envoys and world powers reached a first-step accord in Geneva aimed at easing Western concerns that Tehran could one day seek nuclear weapons.

Rouhani on Sunday repeated Iran’s claim that it would “never” seek atomic weapons.

His reference to “nuclear rights” in a nationally broadcast speech touches on the country’s demand to keep its uranium enrichment program.

I was glum from seeing the 2013 LSU defense allow Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, to run up and down the football field scoring points on our LSU fighting tiger football team. I was infect miserable from losing to those college football teams.

But now I must say that this thanksgiving is going to be especially pleasant for me this year. Because I feel much better over the overall ability of the LSU defense once more.

I was just about convinced that this year LSU defense was lacking in both abilities and know how, compared to the past good LSU defensive of old. Now after they turned back Texas A&M best shots, I do see the right stuff that made me so proud of our LSU fighting tiger football teams defense again.

They got after Texas A&M all over the football fiend last Saturday on national Television, and I am very grateful to know that. Tackling like they should and pursuing the football with a lot of passion. The coming college football seasons can once again hold the promise of better things to come for our LSU fighting tiger football team. When your football team can stop them, you always have a chance to win.

P.S. I am very glad that my father never went to college at Florida. Wow! What a hard fall...Geaux Tigers!!!

SEC bowl projections: Week 13

November, 24, 2013
By Sam Khan Jr. | ESPN.com
The drill at the top is still the same. Alabama to the BCS title game, Auburn likely to the Sugar Bowl. The chances of Auburn getting passed by Texas A&M for the Sugar Bowl just went out the window with the Aggies falling to LSU and picking up their third loss as a result (Auburn can not finish with more than two losses now).

So given that, where does that leave Missouri? The Tigers can clinch an SEC championship game berth with a win over Texas A&M, a loss means South Carolina goes. Either way, if Bama finishes its job and gets to the title game, Missouri will have a second loss, meaning South Carolina could jump the Tigers and be the first non-BCS bowl pick to the Capital One Bowl.
VIZIO BCS National Championship Game, Jan. 6: Alabama
Allstate Sugar Bowl, Jan. 2: Auburn
Capital One Bowl, Jan. 1: South Carolina
AT&T Cotton Bowl, Jan. 3: Texas A&M
Outback Bowl, Jan. 1: Missouri
Chick-fil-A Bowl, Dec. 31: LSU
TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl, Jan. 1: Georgia
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, Dec. 30: Ole Miss
AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Dec. 31: Vanderbilt
BBVA Compass Bowl, Jan. 4: Mississippi State

I think that Missouri is going to defeat Texas A&M, and that will make the cotton Bowl more attractive to LSU.

If Clemson beats SC, Bama beats Auburn, and Mizzou goes to the SEC Championship, win or lose, why wouldn't they be considered the next best team and go to the Sugar Bowl? I suppose if they lose by a huge blowout in the SEC Championship that would sway their bowl choice, but right now, why the assumption Auburn should get that bowl? Mizzou hasn't lost to anybody by 14 points.

I love week after week people keep expecting Mizzou to break. They only lost to a very good South Carolina in a double overtime. Mizzou should win against Texas am, They should be in the sugar bowl at least. They even could manage two wins and make into the national championship. I'm sick of week after week these analysts just waiting for Missouri to fail. They only have one loss and next week is very winnable.

Good god. Why the Texas A&M blogger allowed to do this? After Mizzou beats A&M, the Aggies will be 8-4 and reeling. Mizzou will end up 12-1 or 11-2 and its fans will be excited either way. Sugar, Capital One or Cotton make sense for Mizzou. Chick Fil A makes sense for A&M or SCarolina since neither will make it to Atlanta any other way. Mizzou and Auburn are the stories people want to see. SCarolina and LSU haven;t done much of interest all year, except that USC 2OT win over Mizzou that washed up on the beach for them.
