The face of Washington DC

Tinker:

The face of Washington DC is repulsive to us because of what we see, the facade of all the glorious intent of men who chiseled into the marble and stone the freedom for and by the people is at first glance now a carnal knowledge of being the very place where Barack Obama, Harry Read, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner live. Those men have made what was once a symbol of love and respect of the American government now only a feeling of revulsion, sadness, and grief.

What the politicians have done to the American people federal government is now a rap sheet of the vile criminal violations that is simply only a matter of time before what was done in darkness by these politicians disgraceful behavior gets read about out loud in the light of their burning hell.

Democracy will die in darkness if the American journalist don't start doing their job for real, and that failure will also forever be recorded.

HEALTH CARE FOR THE PUSHY

November 6, 2013
So now it turns out Obama knew that 93 million Americans would have their health insurance canceled the whole time he was claiming, "If you like your insurance, you can keep it. Period."

Obama lied. Period. "Hope and Change" was actually "A Sucker Is Born Every Minute."

Even without the 2010 Health and Human Services (HHS) report admitting that 93 million Americans would lose their health insurance, anyone with half a brain (which is a pre-existing condition) knew that millions of Americans would be thrown off their insurance plans under Obamacare. Under the law, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is to determine what every health insurance plan must cover -- and any plans that don't are illegal.

As a result, gay guys are now going to be forced to buy plans that cover maternity care. Mormons will have to buy plans that cover gambling addiction therapy. Elderly couples can buy only insurance that includes pediatric dental care. Catholic hospitals will be required to provide birth control and abortions.

Our federal overseers, led by the arrogant and smug gender-feminist Sebelius, know what's best for us. (Which is so nice of her since, as she recently pointed out, she doesn't work for us.) Her idea of flexibility is not requiring Catholic priests to perform abortions. Not yet, anyway. Read More »

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — As the quarterback of Alabama's defense, linebacker C.J. Mosley is picking up acclaim typically reserved for offensive players.
One national writer mentioned him as a Heisman dark horse, but the senior was just happy to get away from Saturday night with a victory. He recorded another statistical pile in the 38-17 win over LSU even if he dropped a few potential interceptions.

Mosley had 12 tackles including 1.5 for a loss. The dropped interceptions turned into two pass breakups.

Most gratifying was the look he saw across the line when the clock was winding down.

"It's great. I could tell in some of the players' eyes, that it was about over for them," Mosley said. "After that, we just started making play after play after play. As a defensive player, that gets you fired up."

Alabama right tackle Austin Shepherd saw the same thing from the LSU defense in the final quarter.
"I kinda felt like we could do what we needed to do," he said. "They just seemed like they were wearing down."

ENGSTER: Statistically Speaking - Alabama dominance is a danger to SEC fortunes

The Alabama mystique that permeated the college landscape when Bear Bryant roamed the league has taken a new texture with Nick Saban conquering the current BCS world. Alabama’s 38-17 victory over LSU in Tuscaloosa erased any thread of doubt about the king bee of the SEC. Saban’s reign could exceed the Bryant tenure that saw the Crimson Tide lose only 46 games in 25 years.

Saban is the master of the BCS universe until further notice and is worthy of consideration as the greatest coach in SEC history. In his last nine seasons on a college campus, the mercurial mentor has captured four national championships and could pocket number five in a couple months.

When Saban arrived in Baton Rouge a few days before the close of the Twentieth Century, LSU had endured eight losing seasons in the previous eleven campaigns. In two years under the little big man, LSU was SEC champ, and in four years, the Tigers won it all. His predecessor, Gerry DiNardo, had posted an overall losing SEC record in five years and went 0-7 in 1999 before he was relieved by Hal Hunter.

At Alabama, Mike Shula had gone 13-19 in the SEC in four years preceding Saban, including a 2-6 league mark in 2006. Under Saban, Alabama is 49-10 in conference play in seven years.

Les Miles, who at 92-24, boasts the best overall record by an LSU coach, is 3-5 vs. Saban and has the unenviable task of being continually compared to his predecessor.

It is pertinent to note that the Golden Age of LSU Football may have ended in January of 2008 when Miles and Co. beat Ohio State 38-24 for the BCS trophy.

LSU was clearly the best team in the country from 2003-2007, collecting a pair of national crowns in the land’s toughest league under two different coaches. The Tigers posted the best record against SEC competition of any team in the conference in that five-year span.

Since 2007, LSU has enjoyed one remarkable season in 2011 when the Tigers beat Alabama at Bryant-Denny, won the SEC title and reeled off 13 amazing victories before bowing to Bama 21-0 on Jan. 9, 2012 in New Orleans. Removing the nine wins registered against the conference in the calendar year of 2011, LSU is 23-16 against the SEC since 2007.

Since taking the SEC Championship in a 42-10 rout of Georgia in December of 2011, LSU is 17-7 overall and 9-5 in the conference. Those numbers would be cause for celebration in the old days, but today’s ledger is judged by the LSU record from 2003-2007.

The question for LSU fans is whether they can be content as a lesser program than Alabama. The answer is "Hell no.” Miles must return LSU to the pinnacle or face a revolt at home. He has the security of a multi-million dollar seven-year contract, but his support from a restless fan base is tenuous.

Since 2007, LSU has won 13 fewer games in the conference than has Alabama. This year, LSU may be no better than the eighth best team in the SEC behind Alabama, Missouri, Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

With a group of flimsy non-conference opponents populating the 2014 schedule, the lead up to next year could be enhanced remarkably by what happens in the next three LSU games. Should the Tigers beat Texas A&M and Arkansas and prevail in a bowl game, LSU would be 10-3 and ranked highly heading into next season.

Over the past eleven years, LSU has won more than 72 percent of its conference battles. No other team in the loop has played as successfully against a league that has produced eight of the past ten BCS winners.

A $100 million monster has emerged for the annual budget obligations for LSU’s athletic pursuits. Football is the catalyst for most of the revenue that is dependent on the Golden Age of LSU Football lasting for an eternity. The tolerance for ticket hikes is directly related to success on the field.

Despite the disappointment in Tuscaloosa, the LSU football train can stay ahead of the SEC pack with a triumph over Johnny Manziel this month and the signing of Leonard Fournette from St. Augustine in New Orleans.

With those developments, Miles will retain his natural optimism, and Athletic Director Joe Alleva can anticipate that 101,000 seats in Tiger Stadium will be occupied come September. But sometime soon, the LSU brass must devise a remedy for the red scare in its midst.

If Alabama dominates the conference and every other member is playing for second place, a crisis is coming. Today’s SEC is not predicated upon the conference of a generation ago that Bear Bryant ruled liked a Soviet czar. Somebody must shake Saban from his pedestal, or the rest of the league will fall.

I don't think that the people running the SEC college football programs are very worried over what you are pointing out in this column. Because their status quo is how Saban flourishes to begin with.

All the rest of the SEC college football programs are getting tarnished buy Alabama dominating success in the SEC. But I don't think they really care all that much. So college football teams like LSU can be content to pay Les Miles $4 000 000 dollar to keep the status quo. Just like the people running LSU were trying to do all along since Saban departed the Ole War school, don't you think?

They could have hired "Jim Bo Fisher" remember, He was working in the LSU press box along side you I suppose - sometimes.
