Many time I remember the moments that I shared with the people who closely lived with me everyday, and every night until their death. I often feel myself ebbing back to when we were very much together, having fun, talking, and enjoying each other company.
Now the pain of their lost comes and goes with a ebb tide of emotion just like the mighty Ocean rolling back and forth out to see. The force of that strong emotion feels much like the weight of a large amount of moving water. Because I can still feel their love, their real love that was once ours together, moving me very strongly whether I like it or not.
It all seems so unreal to me now that they are gone, and yet very much still here within me in my memory.
So when I look at the people running the American population government, in Washington DC. I just feel discussed with the United States phoney politician TV shows, playing the American people for chumps. Tweedledum/Tweedledee, meaning the Republican/Democrat abuse of political power party. The beat goes on with these guys, and on, and on, the same old talk on the same old TV show, year after year.

O’Reilly & Sharpton in Yet Another Feud – This Time O’Reilly Says the MSNBC Host Went Too Far With ‘Dishonest’ Editing
Dec. 11, 2013
Bill O’Reilly again went after MSNBC
host Al Sharpton on Wednesday for “dishonestly” editing comments he
made about Nelson Mandela and his “communist” ideology. O’Reilly claims
Sharpton and his team egregiously edited out the context of his
argument.
Now he’s asking NBC News: “What are you going to do about Sharpton?”
The host said Sharpton is “obviously a dishonest person.”
“It’s insane what this guy is doing on NBC’s air,” O’Reilly added. “So far, NBC News has not answered the question.”
Watch the full clip of O’Reilly’s
comments and compare them with Sharpton’s edited version and decide for
yourself if he was taken out of context:

Time for Alabama to re-invest in Nick Saban (Kevin Scarbinsky)
By Kevin Scarbinsky | kscarbinsky@al.com
That’s a compliment to only one of those men.
There was a time when Brown might’ve been considered one of the better coaches in the business, but that time has passed. Saban is still the standard, even after his anticipated trip to Pasadena got re-routed to New Orleans because of one wrong turn in Auburn.
Brown appeared during the day Tuesday to be fighting to extend his tenure at Texas, even though the smart money says it’s a losing fight. The fact that the Longhorns played for a Big 12 championship Saturday against Baylor (and lost) probably only delayed the inevitable.
Closer to home, that means one very important thing: Alabama may have a narrow window of time to take Saban off the market before Texas officially shuffles Brown off to a ceremonial emeritus position and turns its big guns on the Alabama coach.
Not saying Saban would take more money and run. He’s more likely to stay, but one thing has changed in the last couple of weeks since his wife, Terry, told the Wall Street Journal, “We’re staying. We’re not going anywhere.”
Alabama lost. Alabama lost one game to Auburn on the final play. That play lost Alabama the state and division titles and shots at the conference and national titles.
That put Saban in a different place than he’s been three of the last four years in December. His current position offers a parallel to his previous departure from the SEC. When did he leave a great job at LSU? After failing to defend a national championship.
There was a time when Alabama re-calibrated the market for college football coaches to hire Saban with an eight-year deal worth about $32 million, but that was a long time ago. If Brown makes the same amount of money for mediocrity at Texas as Saban does for sustained excellence at Alabama, one of them is underpaid.
Look at the new deal Auburn just did for Gus Malzahn, with the shadow of a Texas opening kicking spurs into that horse. After just one year as an SEC head coach - although it’s been a spectacular, historic year that’s one win away from a national title - the school and the coach have come to a six-year agreement that’ll pay Malzahn an average of $4.5 million a year.
In the last year of the contract, if nothing changes and it always does, Malzahn will make $5.1 million.
\
That’s approaching Saban’s current neighborhood, and no one in college football has approached Saban’s consistency in performance.
The cost of doing business dictates that it’s time for Alabama to again acknowledge what Saban is, the most accomplished coach in the game. That acknowledgement will no doubt have to come in the form of a new contract because money’s not just about money at this atmosphere. It’s about respect and recognition. It’s about investment and return.
Alabama Chancellor Robert Witt recently called Saban “the best financial investment this university has ever made.”
As Alabama well knows, sometimes you have to re-invest. The smoke is rising in Texas. Time to clear the air right here.

Report: Saban to be next Texas coach - Yahoo Sports
16 hours ago - Alabama coach Nick Saban will replace Mack Brown at Texas and become ... Brown will resign in the coming days, "high-level sources" told ...
http://espn.go.com/college-
Commentary
The Nick Saban-to-Texas circus makes for some high-flying
entertainment while we wait for actual games to resume in college
football.
Saban is one of the biggest names in coaching, and the Texas job -- assuming Mack Brown does indeed retire as multiple reports say he will -- is one of the biggest jobs in coaching.
As the saying goes, they do everything a little bigger in Texas.
So what is Saban doing while reports, speculation and rumors run rampant that he's headed to Texas?
He's doing one of the things he does best -- recruit. And that's all he's doing.
His focus right now is seeing as many recruits in a day as he can possibly see. He's not thinking about the Texas job, and he's not thinking about an extension at Alabama.
Saban practices what he preaches, and that's living in a 3-foot prism right in front of him.
Having talked to multiple people close to Saban and close to this situation, nobody I trust expects him to leave for Texas.
Those same people absolutely expect Texas to throw some crazy money at Saban, but there's a reason there are ongoing discussions right now between Saban's representatives and Alabama officials.
Alabama's not going to sit idly by and let Saban walk, not with everything he's meant to that university.
Besides, the only possible way that Saban would leave is if Alabama royally screwed up this process, or if by some chance, there were major administrative changes at the top of the university that adversely affected the way Saban wants to run his program.
Don't look for either to happen.
Alabama knows what a commodity it has in Saban, and the guy who hired him, Robert Witt, is now the chancellor of the University of Alabama three-campus system. They've maintained a close relationship and have a mutual respect for each other.
It's true that Saban has created a monster at Alabama with an insatiable appetite. Anything less than a championship season is a bummer, and perish the thought of the Tide ever winning fewer than nine or 10 games again.
But anybody who truly knows Saban knows that he puts far more pressure on himself than anybody on the periphery ever could. That's why the whole notion of the pressure at Alabama building to the point where it overwhelms Saban doesn't really fly.
Let's be honest here. There wouldn't be maddening pressure at Texas if the Longhorns were to fork over the ranch?
You never say never about anything, which is why you won't get anybody in Saban's camp to say there's zero chance he will leave.
These things have a way of working themselves out, and despite the reputation Saban brought with him to Alabama of being a coaching nomad, he's now been in his current job longer than anybody else in the SEC not named Les Miles, Gary Pinkel, Mark Richt or Steve Spurrier.
In this league, seven years is an eternity.
If anything, Saban has probably had too much success. He's the surest thing going right now in college football, and any school or NFL owner out there with deep pockets would love to have him.
Nobody in college athletics has deeper pockets than Texas.
And now that it looks like the Longhorns will have a coaching vacancy, it's only natural that Alabama administrators and fans would get a little nervous.
Saban, who's won 60 of his past 66 games, would be the ultimate hire for just about anybody.
The Crimson Tide hit it just right in terms of timing when they landed Saban. He wasn't happy in the NFL and was looking to get back into college coaching.
Some might suggest the timing is right for him now to take on one last challenge at Texas. In Saban's mind, like everything else in his world, his challenge is right in front of him.

Good morning, Tiger Fans,
I'll start this update with the good news of LSU picking up a commitment last night from running back Darrell Williams of John Ehret High School. Williams (6'1", 213, No. 14 on my list of Top LA Prospects) chose LSU over offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee and several other schools. As a big, physical, versatile back, Williams helped John Ehret win the district title this year after going winless last season. When stats were compiled at the end of the 10-game regular season, Williams was third in the state in rushing yards with 2,036 yards and 27 TDs, which is incredible considering he plays 5-A ball. By comparison, Leonard Fournette was 7th in the state with 1,508 yards and 12 TDs. Now don’t get me wrong, I'm not implying that Williams is a better back than Fournette (the No. 1 player on my list and the No. 1 prospect in the country) because he is not. But he is a comparable, big-time back and a great addition to LSU's 2014 recruiting class.
What’s particularly interesting about the timing of Williams’ commitment is that it comes only a couple of days after the de-commitment of Sione Palelei and a few hours after LSU visited Miami running back Dalvin Cook. I understand that LSU’s visit with Dalvin Cook went well and that LSU is working on getting him in for an official visit next week. Don’t worry folks, Leonard Fournette remains LSU's top priority at running back and I’ve been told the staff feels very good about landing him. There’s little doubt in my mind that LSU would gladly take all three backs if given the opportunity, and what a trio of backs that would be.

LSU prepares for Outback Bowl without Mettenberger

The LSU football team is officially headed back to a New Year’s Day bowl game.
The Tigers’ athletic department announced early Sunday afternoon that the university had accepted a bid to face Iowa at the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla.
That game will kickoff at noon on Jan. 1. It will be shown to a nationally televised audience on ESPN.
For LSU, it marks the first time in more than 25 years that the team plays in the Outback Bowl. It’s also the team’s first January bowl since the 2011 season when the Tigers reached the BCS National Championship Game.
“We are excited about the opportunity to bring the LSU football program and our tremendous fan base to Tampa for the Outback Bowl for this New Year’s Day game,” LSU Athletics Director Joe Alleva said. “This will be a great week for LSU in Tampa and we encourage our fans to buy tickets and come be a part of LSU’s first trip to Tampa for a bowl game in 25 years.”
“I think our guys will enjoy a time in a place that is a destination in itself,” LSU coach Les Miles added. “We really look forward to playing. We can’t wait to get there. I don’t know what our traveling plans are as of yet. We are still making practice plans. It was great news. These Tigers look forward to going.”
For LSU, the Jan. 1 bowl bid is the icing on the cake of an up-and-down season.
After losing 11 underclassmen players to the NFL Draft following last season’s 10-3 campaign, many expected the Tigers to crash and burn in 2013 amidst the always-competitive SEC schedule.
The critics were wrong.
LSU suffered bumps in the road and fell flat in three road games, two of which were decided in the final seconds. But the Tigers were the only team in the country to beat SEC Champion Auburn - a 35-21 thumping in Tiger Stadium. LSU also beat Texas A&M and Mississippi State, each of whom are bowl teams.
LSU is the only SEC team with a 1,000-yard rusher (Jeremy Hill) and two 1,000-yard receivers (Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry).
Miles said he can’t wait to showcase those players on a big stage against Iowa.
He added that he expects a large crowd of Tiger fans to make the trek, as well.
“I think when you show up at a very quality venue and an area that football is awfully important, I think our fans and friends will travel there,” Miles said. “There are things to do and certainly the weather is great for the holidays. I think all of the new sites present a lure to our team that we will look forward to. We also recognize the opportunity to play well in that game is certainly most important.”
The Tigers opened as a slight favorite in Las Vegas against the Hawkeyes.
But LSU’s bowl foe will enter Tampa on a winning streak.
After struggling to just a 4-3 record in their first seven games, Iowa closed by winning four of the final five in 2013.
The Hawkeyes closed the year with three-straight wins, beating Purdue, Michigan and Nebraska.
Iowa will not feature an elite passing attack - no receiver on their team has 400 yards on the year.
But the Hawkeyes make their success with stout rushing and efficient defense. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz has been with the team since 1999 and has posted a 108-78 record.
“I know that Coach Kirk Ferentz has done a great job there,” Miles said. “I think he has been there for 15 years. He has been one of the most successful coaches in the Big Ten conferences for years.”
Of course, diehard LSU fans know that Iowa is a team that has some New Year’s Day history with the Tigers.
On Jan. 1, 2005, the two teams met in the Capital One Bowl - a game that marked Nick Saban’s final game on the sidelines for the Tigers.
In a back and forth affair, LSU took a late lead on a rally inspired by redshirt freshman quarterback JaMarcus Russell’s arm and legs.
But it all was wasted, as Iowa completed a last-second Hail Mary pass to score as time expired and seal a 30-25 victory for the Hawkeyes.
Obviously with nearly a decade passed, no one on either side played in that game. But Miles said he fully expects another competitive game that goes down to the wire.
“I think we will understand the need to play well in this game as we look forward,” Miles said.
Tickets are available for the game, via the LSU Athletic Department.
Those interested in making the trip should visit www.lsusports.net.
Mettenberger out for bowl
Prior to the bowl announcement, LSU fans learned that quarterback Zach Mettenberger’s collegiate career had come to an end.
The school announced early last week that the senior quarterback tore his ACL during the second half of the final regular season game.
Mettenberger’s 2013 season ends after completing 192-of-296 passes for 3,082 yards with 22 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
True freshman Anthony Jennings will start the Outback Bowl.
