How could President Barack Obama be so foolish?

Tinker:

How could President Barack Obama be so foolish over this country's great Constitution of we the people?

I realize that politicians working in Washington DC have been doing just about what they damn well please in the federal government of the United States for over a hundred years now.

So for me to suggest that Barack Obama is wasting his opportunity as the president of the United States with personal foolish Ideas, that obviously abuse the American peoples Constitution. Does seem naive and awful dumb of me to sit down and wright about them now, right.

The establishment political powers is very entrenched as to how Washington DC federal government is being run for a long period of time. So for me to bore you with the double standards that the American people are living with in our daily lives these days in America is in reality not going to change nothing at all.

I wonder just what is it going to take before the American people except the truth about the corruption in their federal government.

Is it really going to take a serious calamity of a exploding meteorite, or the total melt down of the American people economy, before the American people finally do something about this corrupt American federal government?

I guess that I answered my own question, that president Barack Obama is no more foolish about the American Constitution than any of the long list of politicians that has been elected into the federal government in Washington DC by the American people over the years.

The real trouble I suppose is in you and I, for not stopping them. Because it doesn't really take a American government historian to point out that the abuse of the American people Constitution has been going on for a very long time now.

That it is really not news at all, but a everyday way of doing business in the federal government of our United States.

The Seminoles and Buckeyes are the only two remaining undefeated teams from the automatic qualifying conferences and have the inside track to play for the title.

Alabama, which had been the No. 1 team in each previous edition of this year's standings, fell from the ranks of the unbeatens after losing to Auburn on the final play of the game Saturday.

Auburn moved up to No. 3 by winning the Iron Bowl, while Alabama dropped to No. 4, barely ahead of No. 5 Missouri.

Auburn will play Missouri on Saturday in the SEC Championship Game, but both teams will likely need either Florida State or Ohio State to lose in order to move into the top two.

Florida State is ranked first in both polls used by the BCS and is also first in the computer ratings. The Seminoles need only beat No. 20 Duke in the ACC Championship Game to remain at the top of the standings.

Bowl chatter: LSU’s destination clearing up

Saturday’s wild day in SEC football (see Auburn stunning AlabamaMissouri beating Texas A&M and South Carolina topping Clemson) has parted the clouds around LSU’s bowl destination.

It seems pretty clear. But, then again, you never know. LSU is bound for one of two bowls, many expect: Cotton and Outback. That, however, is not official, a lock, for-sure, certain, etc. We won’t know absolutely certain until a day after the SEC championship game, Dec. 8, when bowls announce their participants.

For now, we analyze LSU’s two most-likely bowl spots. Enjoy and read more about this in Monday’s Advocate from columnist Scott Rabalais.

Worth noting:
  • This all assumes two SEC teams are invited to BCS bowls, which is nearly a given. Alabama should receive a BCS at-large invitation as well as an automatic BCS bid from the SEC championship game winner (Auburn-Missouri).
  • LSU is eliminated from being invited to the Capital One Bowl, the SEC’s top bowl outside of BCS games. Capital One cannot choose a team with more than one fewer win than the top SEC team not invited to a BCS team. Example: The top SEC team that won’t be taken by a BCS bowl will likely be the SEC championship game loser (Auburn or Missouri). They both have 11 wins. South Carolina, at 10 wins, could be in the mix for the Capital One. LSU, with 9 wins, cannot.
SEC bowl pecking order (outside of BCS):
  • 1 Capital One (vs. Big 10 No. 2)
  • 2 Cotton Bowl (vs. Big 12 No. 2) *first preference of SEC West team
  • 2 Outback Bowl (vs. Big 10 No. 3) *first preference of SEC East team
  • 4 Chick-fil-A Bowl (vs. ACC No. 2)
  • 5 Gator Bowl (vs. Big 10 No. 5)
  • 6 Music City Bowl (vs. ACC No. 6)
  • 7 Liberty Bowl (vs. C-USA No. 1)
  • 8 BBVA Compass Bowl (vs. ACC No. 5)
  • 9 AdvoCare V100 (Liberty) Bowl (vs. ACC No. 7)
LSU knows the feeling of winning the Cotton Bowl. The Tigers whipped A&M three years ago there. (Bill Feig | The Advocate)
Now, let’s get to the breakdown of the two bowls LSU is most likely to be invited to …

Cotton Bowl
  • Chances: High to very high.
  • Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
  • When: 7 p.m., Jan. 3
  • Last time there: 2010 season, beat Texas A&M 41-24
  • All-time record there: 3-1-1
  • How and why: This is the most logical choice and has been since LSU beat Texas A&M two weeks ago. Saturday’s results didn’t change much. It’s simple really – the Capital One takes the SEC championship game loser or South Carolina and the Outback takes whatever team the Capital One passed over. That’s likely to be South Carolina (there’s a wrinkle here and we get to that below). Anyway, the Cotton gets the next pick. LSU’s biggest competition would be Georgia and Texas A&M, both of them at 8-4. But QB Aaron Murray is out for the Bulldogs, who had a season much worse than anyone expected. A&M finished the year with back-to-back losses and has played in the Cotton two of the last three years. Easy choice is LSU.
  • Possible opponents: Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma.
