Until then:

Tinker:

Before you go to the voting booth on election day in the near future the American citizens must get together and run a candidate of their own choice, before they do anything else. The American people must go to each other house in the neighborhood around this country and then to the federal courthouse in your townships to select the people of your choice to run for the President, and Congress of the United States.

Break the tight grip of Tweedledee/Tweedledum meaning the Democrat/Republican corrupt political parties in the American people United States government.

There is no other way of breaking through the Washington DC establishment corruption in the federal government of these United States.

The American people must come together on their own, and stop fooling around with this Washington DC federal government myth television show that the American people must be very tired of by now. Get off the easy chairs, and sofas, and meet with the people next door, so you can change America into the place you want.

Until then we are just spinning our wheels until we come together for real.

Megyn Kelly Loses It Over Huge New Obamacare Problem: ‘That’s Your Money!’

Related:

The Obama administration is reportedly preparing to implement a “workaround” that instructs insurers to “estimate” the cost of health care plans and the government will determine the actual costs later, Reuters reports. This “workaround” is needed because the Obamacare payment system isn’t working properly.

“You’re touting this improved Healthcare.gov,” a befuddled Kelly began. “How does the system work without a payment mechanism? There is no cash register!”

Reuters has the “bombshell” report on the new “workaround”:
The administration is planning a “workaround” for payments, said Daniel Durham, vice president for policy and regulatory affairs at America’s Health Insurance Plans.
Health plans will estimate how much they are owed, and submit that estimate to the government. Once the system is built, the government and insurers can reconcile the payments made with the plan data to “true up” payments, he said.
“The intent is to make sure plans get paid on time, which is a good thing,” Durham told Reuters.
The fix puts an additional “burden” on insurance companies, already taxed by having to double-check faulty enrollment data from the HealthCare.gov system.
Kelly was shocked that the administration would “let the insurance companies estimate what they should get.”

“Then the feds are going to cut them a big check and figure out later what the real amounts are supposed to be! That’s your money!” she added. “Think about that for a moment. Think about that. We’re talking about one-sixth of the U.S. economy and this is the system that they have now settled on.”

Kelly went on to remind viewers that President Barack Obama on Tuesday assured the American people that Obamacare is “working and will continue working in the future.”

The Onion Examines the Controversy Over ‘Stop and Kiss’

Politico Stonewalls Mike Allen Payola Scandal

In the fifties, a bunch of rock stations got caught taking money from music producers to give their artists airtime. The "Payola" scam, as it was called, was sufficiently outrageous to become a major national scandal. Last month, Washington Post reporter Erik Wemple reported that Politico's Mike Allen is running a similar scam — accepting lucrative payments from advertisers and lending his editorial voice to hyping, and sometimes parroting, their agenda. Given the relative importance of national politics vis-à-vis rock music, this struck me as a potentially career-ending revelation. Instead, Politico has ignored the report and carried on as if nothing at all were amiss.
But Politico couldn't avoid all interviews forever, and in the course of appearing on "The Brian Lehrer Show" to hype Politico's new Capital New York venture, CEO, former editor, and Allen co-author Jim VandeHei was asked about the payola allegations. His reply is a comical stream of evasive tripe:
Yeah, I thought the piece was nonsense, which is why we didn’t play ball with him on it. I mean, Mike Allen has written Playbook now 365 days a year for six years. We’ve done, what, thousands of Playbooks, which has had hundreds of thousands of items. I’m sure he could find any pattern he wants to if he wanted to dissect all the Playbook entries that we’ve had over seven years. Mike Allen is one of the best reporters that I’ve known in Washington, one of the fairest, has the sort of highest ideals of anybody I know. So the product is rock-solid, it’s silly to insinuate that — like, why would we do that? There’s no business interest to do it. Mike would have no business interest to do it.

Perception of government could affect agency hiring

A majority of Americans in a recent survey said they view the federal government as mostly corrupt—an opinion that a public service advocate said was likely to make it more difficult to recruit top talent to federal agencies.

The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press interviewed more than 3,000 adults about their views of government in the second week of April. They released a report on the results on April 26.
Fifty-four percent of the respondents said the federal government is “mostly corrupt,” while 31 percent said “mostly honest,” and 11 percent said they did not know, or neither.

“That is really quite disturbing,” John Palguta, vice president for policy with the Partnership for Public Service, told Federal Computer Week.

"Certainly it does not help recruitment," Palguta said. "I am worried about the negative attitudes turning people off about working for the government."

He said the dampening effect could be subtle because many people are looking for work and there is competition for federal jobs. However, pervasive negative attitudes make it harder to attract the best qualified talent, he added.

Morale of the current 2 million federal employees also is likely to be hurt, but to a lesser degree, Palguta said.

"When people badmouth the government, it takes a toll," Palguta said. At the same time, he added, federal employee morale is somewhat resilient because the public recognizes some of the benefits of government, such as Social Security and national defense.

Federal agencies "will have to work harder" to reduce the negative perceptions, Palguta said. "Fight perceptions with facts. Tell people about the outstanding work of government."

Other measures of corruption have shown the United States government to be among the least corrupt. For example, Globalintegrity.org recently rated the U.S. as scoring 85 out of 100 for its strong integrity laws.

In the Pew report, state governments got higher ratings than the federal government for honesty.

Forty-nine percent said state governments are mostly honest, while 37 percent said they are mostly corrupt.

Incredible and Eerie Video: Just Listen to the Haunting Sounds Coming From the New World Trade Center

One World Trade Center, sitting on the original six-building complex of the World Trade Center that was attacked by terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001, has been filmed from various, dizzying angles with its completion this year and was recently named the tallest building in the United States.

But aside from its impressive looks, there’s another feature that has received less attention but is well-known to those who find themselves on the lower side of Manhattan on a windy day.

The building, colloquially known as the Freedom Tower, emits an eerie, haunting sound in high wind storms.

Take a listen:

The above recording appears to have been taken recently, but it’s not the first time the sound has been documented.

This video records the high-pitched howling of the building during Superstorm Sandy last year:

And this one was filmed in January 2013:

Now, no one has questioned the authenticity of the footage yet — and wind howling among buildings is a natural occurrence — but there is always the potential that someone could have manufactured the sound for these videos.

Zach Mettenberger has torn ACL

LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger suffered a torn ACL during last week's 31-27 victory over Arkansas, multiple sources told ESPN.

Mettenberger was hit on his left knee during the fourth quarter by Arkansas defensive tackle Byran Jones. The senior quarterback happened to be wearing a brace on his left knee, but the force of the hit bent his knee back, causing the ligament tear. One source said Mettenberger is expected to have surgery on his left knee in about two weeks.

Mettenberger, who is known for his outstanding arm strength, was thought to be no worse than a mid-first-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft before he suffered the injury, two high-ranking NFL personnel sources said.

Backup quarterback Anthony Jennings, who took over for Mettenberger against Arkansas and led LSU to victory late in the game, will be the starter for the team's bowl appearance.

Landry’s contortion reception overlooked

In what could be his last game at Tiger Stadium, junior receiver Jarvis Landry might have made his best catch — even if you didn’t notice.

Landry’s 32-yard, left-handed leaping reception in the fourth-quarter of the comeback win over Arkansas on Friday was more than slightly overshadowed.

It had the unfortunate timing of coming on the same play in which starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger was injured and in the same game in which true freshman quarterback Anthony Jennings led a 99-yard game-winning drive.

So no, Landry’s catch didn’t get headlines, but the grab was a key play in the 31-27 win in the regular season finale. It happened midway through the fourth quarter and set up Colby Delahoussaye’s 37-yard field goal.

The catch came in spectacular fashion.

Reaching over Arkansas true freshman cornerback D.J. Dean, Landry caught the pass from Mettenberger with his left hand. He somehow corralled the ball, inches from hitting the turf, using his left palm with Dean in between the ball and his body.

The receiver’s left arm was draped around Dean’s neck so he could reach the pass. The cornerback’s hands were briefly on the football before Landry plucked it away with his left hand.

“It’s more likely that Jarvis Landry make catches like that than some freshman quarterback go 99 yards for the victory,” a smiling LSU coach Les Miles said after the game. “I’ve just seen it enough. I just expect it. He does too.”

Landry finished the game with 113 yards receiving on eight catches. He had more shining moments than the left-handed snag.

He caught an 11-yarder on the game-winning drive and had a third-down catch that continued a third-quarter drive that resulted in an LSU touchdown.

His left-handed catch came on first down at the LSU 47 with the Tigers down 27-21 and 6:40 left.

“I remember looking at the defense,” Landry said, “and it being a defense we wanted.”

The play might be mostly remembered for Mettenberger’s injury.

Rush Report: Tigers await bowl invite
LSU Sports Radio Network’s Gordy Rush discusses the possible bowl game scenerios for the Tigers.
The Tigers and their fans must wait until Sunday for the bowl matchups to be released, but much could be determined in the outcome of the conference championships played Saturday.

Auburn faces Missouri for the SEC crown, FloridaState will battle Duke for the top of the ACC and OhioState faces MichiganState for the Big 10 championship.

Gordy believes where Wisconsin falls based on what happens in the Big 10 title game. He sees the Cotton Bowl or Outback as the leaders and the Capitol One is an outside chance.

Gordy added that loser of SEC Championship couldn’t fall below the Cotton Bowl, making it the “safety net” scenario.
