Don't you just hate these television celebrity people over the way they act. I mean come on everyone knows better now and it is almost impossible for me to believe anything that a American running dog politician say anymore.
Some are worse then others but in general Tweedledee & Tweedledum are not just a pair of Walt Disney cartoon characters in the show Alice in Wonderland, but very real in our United States government.
The television shows from the people controlling the political game that
the American people are forced to play every election year, are wearing
very thin on me. Are you as tired of the bull talk as much as I am?
Democrat or Republican the American people keep electing the same old
parrot from the wise guys celebrity that they want the American people
to like. I am not sorry that I don't like the real life American
political characters that the television networks want me to like these
day, because I don't.You know what else the television popularity polls can go take a flying jump into hell also.
Benjamin Franklin said it best, "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see."

http://www.andthevalleyshook. com/2014/1/8/5285116/should-a- player-declare-for-the-draft
If you aren't a top two round pick, probably not.
Yesterday, ATVS advised Jeremy Hill to go pro.
While we haven't weighed in on their decisions, I'm pretty sure no one
has a problem with Beckham or Landry declaring for the draft either. If
you are a first round pick, you should never take any criticism for
going pro. Football is a violent sport, careers are short, and these
guys have earned that brass ring.
But there is a world's difference between being a potential first round pick and being a potential third round pick or later. While we're giving out advice, I'm asking that any player, at any school, who is projected to go in the third round or later should almost always come back to school. This isn't looking at what's best for LSU or the school, this is what's best for the player himself. If I had a friend who was good enough to be a potential draft pick, I'd give this same advice: getting taken in the third round or later is a massive career obstacle to overcome. A player should do everything to avoid getting taken in the third round or later, even if it means trying your luck next year.
79 players declared for the NFL draft year, forgoing next season's eligibility. Seventy-nine. There's only so many picks in the first three rounds, guys. How did they do?
25 guys clearly made a mistake. 18 guys most likely made a mistake, and will spend the next two or three years on the fringes of the NFL in all likelihood. Only 26 of the 75 guys landed in the safety of the first two rounds and guaranteed money in their rookie deal.
But I can hear you saying already: with the new cap, it's best to start your clock early and just get to your second deal as soon as you can. That's advice that sounds good, but it ignores a rather important thing: players taken in the 3rd round or later aren't likely to ever see a second contract.
The NFL is a brutal league run by even more ruthless businessmen. This is not a developmental league. If you can't play right away, very few teams are going to wait for you to develop. They will cast you on the slagheap and draft a newer model next year.
Now, teams likely won't give up on a top two round pick that early because they have something invested there. Not just guaranteed money, but also the draft pick. Top two round picks are valuable. Third round or later? The team has nothing invested in you. Picks lose value exponentially as the draft progresses, and teams simply don't place a premium on a third round pick. If you blow that pick, it's not a good thing, but it's an easily absorbed loss. The team moves on rather quickly.
The new rookie cap came into existence for the first time in the 2011 draft. Those players have now played three years, so we can see how teams treated their third round picks. The results aren't pretty.
Two guys have made a Pro Bowl. Two. That's how many guys can reasonably expect that big second contract. Another nine guys are their team's primary starter at the position they were drafted, so they also have a good chance at a second deal, but their odds of a huge windfall vary wildly. But let's call one-third of the third round picks a success. This is the best case scenario.
Nine guys are already out of the league or already intimately familiar with their practice squad. Their careers are essentially already over, and not only did they not get a second deal, they didn't earn their entire first deal. Another 13 guys are backups with very little chance of getting a second contract. A victory at this point would be getting a veteran minimum deal for one more year.
A player taken in the third round has just about as good of a chance as failing to make it to the end of his rookie deal as he is to earn a second contract. Approximately two-thirds of third round picks will not earn a second contract.
Entering the draft to be a third round pick is a terrible financial decision. The fact that there are multiple LSU players who weren't even 1st team All-SEC players considering turning pro is mind boggling. This isn't about LSU, this is about the players themselves. Leaving early when you weren't a top tier college player is a great way to be unemployed in two years.

Now switching gears to LSU football, overall I am very optimistic about 2014, but there are several questions to be answered this offseason. Some will be answered in the coming days, while others will take much longer. Below are six such questions that we’ll discuss in the coming days, weeks and months as we anxiously await another LSU quest for a championship.
Who’s leaving early?
So far, Odell Beckham, Jr., Jarvis Landry, Ego Ferguson, Anthony Johnson, and Trai Turner all seem destined for the NFL. Others to watch include Jeremy Hill, La’el Collins, Alfred Blue and Kennth Hilliard. With the January 15 deadline quickly approaching, this question will be answered soon.
Running Back Depth?
If LSU loses Hill, Blue and Hilliard, will Terrance Magee and commits Leonard Fournette and Darrell Williams give LSU enough depth at such a critical position? And if Hill does stay, does this affect either of the two commits’ decisions? Side note: Still no official word on Hill, but the signs look encouraging for him staying.
Who will be the signal caller?
With Anthony Jennings, commit/signee Brandon Harris, Stephen Rivers, Hayden Rettig and Rob Bolden all on board, who emerges on top? I expect a heated battle between Jennings and Harris this spring, but the others will have something to say about that.
Defensive Line Depth? (Especially at the Tackles)
With Ferguson and Johnson leaving, who steps in to not only start but provide quality depth? LSU is not lacking in numbers at the position, but is lacking at experience. Christian LaCouture and Quintin Thomas are the only two other tackles to see considerable playing time this season, so the question becomes which other talented youngsters will develop into players capable of restoring the dominance that was lacking in LSU’s 2013 D-line.
Who Fills in For LSU’s Greatest Wide Receiver Tandem in History?
It’s unrealistic to think that LSU will have two receivers that can step in and match the performance of Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham, Jr., but LSU does have several talented receivers on the roster and more coming in this recruiting class. With players like Travin Dural, John Diarse, Q. Leslie, Avery Johnson and Kevin Spears returning, plus newcomers Trey Quinn, Tony Upchurch, and hopefully at least one other like Malachi Dupre or Frank Iheanacho, the staff should have a tons of talent with which to work.
I’ll close today’s report with this link to good article about LSU commit Deondre Clark who was recently named The Oklahoman Little All-City Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.

Krauthammer on Gates' revelations about Obama: 'How can a commander-in-chief do that?'
Published January 07, 2014
FoxNews.com
Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said Tuesday on
"Special Report with Bret Baier" that former Obama Defense Secretary
Robert Gates’ revelation in his new memoir that his commander-in-chief
didn’t believe in the war in Afghanistan and subsequent surge in troops
was shocking.
“Obama doesn’t believe in the surge or in the war, or in his own actions,” Krauthammer said, “He doesn’t believe in [General] Petraeus, he hates [Afghan President] Karzai, he thinks the war isn’t his. How can a commander-in-chief do that?”
Krauthammer went on to say he assumed President Obama didn’t believe in the war, since the president never explained why the war or the surge in American troops in Afghanistan was important.
However, Krauthammer said Gates’ confirmation of this is “an indictment of the president that rises above everything else he’s done in his presidency.”

Very
talented college football players like Jeremy Hill are taking a chance
each and every time they play a football game to serious injury. Running
backs like Hill who carries the football more then most, can suffer
more hard hits than lets say a WR/TE. The point being is if Hill does
return to tiger stadium again to play along with Fournette, he would
really earn my appreciation for his leadership. Inspiring the LSU
fighting tiger football family with a very deep spirit of pride, and
respect. Geaux Tigers!!!

hill
actually carries the ball about as much as anyone else. He's not being
ridden hard like Tre Mason or Gurley or Lattimore. The last two are good
examples for not coming back, but LSU uses a platoon of running backs
and has been able to avoid injuries at the position. (knock on wood)
Hill's main problem is the perception of his character. A year without
trouble could help him in that department. A player shouldn't even
consider leaving early unless they are going to go in the first 2
rounds.

- Thomas Williams Taron Mayeux: Cool! Thanks a lot for the "If you aren't a top two round pick, probably not" column. I am still inspired by Fournette, and Hill leadership, I feel like that was a very manly choice by both man. That Fournette was proud to play for his home Louisiana football team LSU, and Hill desired to taking a chance on his love for LSU. That kind of spirit can only help the other LSU football players.
- DJkurupt Blows Thomas Williams: Please don't ever use the words "leadership" and "Jeremy Hill" in the same sentence. He's a statutory rapist and an aggravated assault offender... Typical thug that should be in prison, but he can run between the tackles, so he's a starter on LSWho.
- Thomas Williams DJkurupt Blows: Wow! You have a strong personal opinion about Hill recent past indiscretions, that a judge in a court of law has ruled over. I like people getting a second chance when that moment meets the crime and reasonable men can show mercy. I think that Jeremy Hill has paid his obligation to the court of law, and is living a law abiding life now. So I will go on speaking about him in the way that I want and feel. To each is own.

Should a Player Declare for the Draft?

http://blogs.theadvocate.com/ tigertracks/report-o-line- coach-studrawa-no-longer-part- of-staff/
“He’s left the program to pursue other opportunities,” Bonnette said.
Studrawa is the longest-tenured LSU assistant, having just completed his seventh season with the Tigers. He served as offensive coordinator in 2011 and 2012. He was thrust into that position in August of 2011 when Steve Kragthorpe was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
LSU’s offense under Studrawa in 2011 and 2012 ranked 86th and 87th, respectively.
“Stud (Studrawa) was a big part of our success here,” coach Les Miles said in a statement released Wednesday. “We won a lot of games, including a national championship and four straight 10-win seasons, with him. We appreciate all that Greg did for this program and wish nothing but success for him and his family in the future.”
Studrawa, 49, made $500,000 a year. His contract runs through next season and ends March 2015. LSU would owe him more than $600,000 if he were dismissed without cause.
Studrawa joined the LSU staff in 2007, Miles’ third year leading the program. He was offensive coordinator at Bowling Green, his alma mater, from 2003-06. Before that, Studrawa was the offensive line coach at Arkansas State.
Studrawa has coached more than a half-dozen All-SEC performers during his tenure. Just two, Herman Johnson and Joe Barksdale, were drafted.
It’s unclear how Studrawa’s departure will affect LSU’s recruiting. National Signing Day is Feb. 5. The Tigers have two offensive line commitments, University High’s Garrett Brumfield and Brother Martin’s William Clapp.
After the Under Armour All-American game, Brumfield said LSU’s staff stability was one of the reasons he committed to the Tigers.
“LSU’s coaching staff is probably one of the most secure in the country,” said Brumfield, a four-star rated prospect and the sixth-best in “That was another reason I chose LSU. It’s secure.”
Reached on Wednesday, Brumfield’s father, Paul, said Studrawa’s departure is a “surprise” but should not affect his son’s commitment.
“Garrett made his decision more on the school rather a particular coach or individual,” Paul Brumfield said. “I don’t think he would change his commitment.”
Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron had been the primary recruiter on Garrett Brumfield lately, Paul Brumfield said. Cameron and Studrawa visited the Brumfields home just a few weeks ago, Paul Brumfield said.

Per coachingsearch.com: LSU: According to Mike Scarborough of TigerBait.com, Les Miles has parted ways with offensive line coach Greg Studrawa. It will be interesting to see if Baltimore Ravens assistant Andy Moeller joins the LSU staff. The Ravens announced this morning that Juan Castillo would replace Moeller as offensive line coach moving forward. Ravens' assistant o-line could Todd Washington could be another candidate. Washington recently turned down the offensive line job at USC. |
