My country,' tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;
Now
I understand that this song that we all sang as children before the PC
police came along, was a prideful tune that most of us Americans learned
by heart. But now that we have grown older we now realize that what
disappointment we feel these days about the American people Government.
Is the same repulsion that all the American people felt though out our
American history. Ever since the American Indians realized that Uncle
Sam was talking to everyone with a fork tong.My country,' tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;
Our country's patriotic pride had a renewed prideful feeling for
Michelle Obama after her husband Barack Obama was elected president of
the United States. The American people wondered if she was not prideful
in the American peoples Government before her husband was elected
president at that time?
Now after five years of Barack Obama presidency and
trillions of dollars in Government dept, and the American people being
forced to replace the American people health insurance into Obama care.
And a lot of broken promises from the American people Government once again. The American people are having a hard time themselves feeling prideful over the U.S. Government. But we hope that Michelle my bell is still walking with pride.
----------
ABC’s Barbara Walters did another in a series of sycophantic gushing and fawning interviews with the Obama's Friday.
In the wake of the President’s fallacious claim that people could keep their health insurance plans if they liked them, the most preposterous part of the interview was when Michelle Obama said her husband “keeps his promises” without any pushback from Walters (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

I would hate to believe that some American people pride in the American Government only goes skin deep, what about you?
I would hate to believe that some American people pride in the American Government only goes skin deep, what about you?
The American people have suffered through too many political lies, and too many raw deals Mr. TV reporter. So I guess that you will just need to go puff on that American peoples new reality in your legalized grass pipe, and leave what is left of the American people pride alone.
Because the American people have suffered through too many broken Government promises before Obama.
So
you go ahead guys and have your White House party with your zenith of
the Ivy league. My spirit will simply go where there is better company.

Seven Days and Counting, How does LSU Finish this Class? (Posted on 1/2/14 at 6:45 pm)
Less than two weeks away from NSD. It appears the staff wants to sign 25, so which recruits close out this class?
We have 19 commitments, and expect to sign 25, so we have six open spots.
For the most part, these are the names that you will see as the days count down.
DB Adoree' Jackson
WR Malachi Dupre
DE Lorenzo Carter
LB Kenny Young
OT Derrick Kelly
DT Travonte Valentine
WR Emanuel Porter
DE Malik McDowell
DT Trey Lealaimatafao
Unfortunately, Breeland Speaks has decided to "settle" with Ole Miss and doesn't appear to be considering the Tigers any longer.
Melvin Hollard Jr, a board favorite, doesn't seem to be a priority to the staff, and has committed to Minnesota. WR Rushing is also no longer being considered.
Damien Prince has chosen Penn St, not LSU, for his final official visit.
Bailey Granier may get yet another look but it appears LSU is not going to extend an offer.
LINK to most recent visitor weekend
Also an important note, there is still an outside shot at decommitments and/or grade problems that could keep current commitments from making it into this class. Most agree that the visits by Godchaux, Williams, and Clark are at least something to keep an eye on, even though they have repeated that they are solid to LSU.
Official Recruit Announcement Times
As these become available, please post in the thread so I can update
Adoree Jackson NSD Feb. 5th)2:05 p.m. EST/ESPNU.
Travonte Valentine NSD

The 6-foot, 174-pound Gage is projected to play cornerback in college.
“This is something I dreamed about and prayed about for a while now,” Gage said. “I knew LSU was where I wanted to go, so I waited for an offer. Once I got it, there was no question.”
