Let’s do a good job anyway

Tinker

Do you have a hero in our United States government right now as I write? Is it the leaders or just a few of them that we can feel good about? I am not going to mention the White House president staff, because that is a obvious waste of time. No one there is even remotely capable of being a hero to the American people without wanting something for themselves in return. So that bad behavior leaves them out altogether.
No I have in mind the hundred and even thousands of our fellow countryman who are much like us. Trying to do a good job in-spite of the foolish mistakes coming from the top. In the U.S. military the true strength that made the military work is the non-commissioned officers. The sergeants who job it was to make the orders coming from the top to work. The sergeants are the backbone of our U.S. military. The investment is in the people around us. We should pull together now more than before because we the people are receiving some very crazy orders from the top. Working together we can make the bad orders work, if we are so inclined.
The guys who give bad orders are really not that important to us now. Our country need the best that we can give, so let’s work together and give this time and place our best shot. We will know why we win just as surly that we are going to be the first to know why we lost.
Let’s stop all the bickering and arguing over what we have a total disagreement about. Pull together in the same direction in a determent civil moment of working together anyway. And strive to win for the sake of our countryman and our forefather’s secret honor.
Because you know what, my hero has always been you.
