I was raised in the upper 9th ward of New Orleans Louisiana so would you let your child walk four blocks, or further, to school by themselves with a deep abiding faith in your Lord God, who you are trusting to see that no lasting harm touches them. And simply then trust the faith in your heart to keep your love ones safe, and that is exactly what my parents did with their children and I like them also lived that way every day, and night, for the rest of my life.

Well that is how I lived all of my life treating everyone around me that same way too. I went on to have a family and children who lived in a lot of very bad neighborhoods also, and still did not get touch by a lasting scar, or emotional harm that they could not overcome. As they walked and played in those very dangerous places, until they were grown men and women with a family of their own..

No one went to jail or were emotional scared that they could not overcome what they experienced and to still stay decent people themselves. Because I felt like that there is no real protection from the evil around us, and but for the grace of God and good parents, and friends, we are saved. I still believe in that feeling and hope that this deep faith in God, family, and friends, works for you and your love ones too. The magic seems to be inside the faith itself as we live in real faith by really trusting in God and each other in how we lived.

I really don't understand good luck because how could anyone really understand that, but somehow my love ones and I have always been lucky that way. Just because we were blessed by some really good parents, and friends.
