In an appearance on Fox’s “Outnumbered” on Tuesday, Lowry doubled down, adding some friendly words about Cruz.
“How can you just tweet out on National Review you’re welcome and make that a win?” panelist Andreana Kostantina asked Lowry.
“This is an enormous win. Ted Cruz is a conservative. There’s no doubt about his principles,” he said.
Lowry is a columnist for POLITICO Magazine.
