Those are clearly inductees into the hall of fame when it comes to lies told by a member of the Clinton family. They’re horrible, they’re obviously false, and they’re hilarious. However, we may have a new nominee for inclusion, after Clinton’s appearance on “CBS This Morning” this Monday.

Clinton was being asked about her ties to major Wall Street banks, a key issue from her main challenger, socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

“And on the campaign trail, how do you answer that charge that Sen. Sanders has made that you’re in the pocket of Wall Street or beholden to their interests?” co-host Norah O’Donnell asked Clinton.

“Well, look, anybody who knows me knows I’m not in the pocket of anyone, and anyone who thinks they can influence me certainly doesn’t know me,” Clinton said.

You may have laughed at that comment, and you wouldn’t be alone. In fact, several of CBS’ anchors laughed at the remark too, including network stalwart Charlie Rose.
