WASHINGTON -- The gathering on the eighth-floor rotunda of the
federal government’s Ronald Reagan Building looked, at first glance,
like any other Saturday-evening D.C. cocktail party.
But this was no ordinary affair.
The 50 or so people in the room were there for the winter conference of the National Policy Institute, a nonprofit think tank based in Arlington, Virginia. On its website, NPI describes itself as a group “dedicated to the heritage, identity, and future of people of European descent in the United States.”
In NPI's telling, white Americans are increasingly under siege in their own country, doomed to be a hated minority as people of color grow ever more numerous and politically powerful.
And Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy has given the group's members more hope than ever that help is on the way.

Thomas Williams · Growing up, I asked my playmate how do you pronounce your name MAAYAN?
He said: "spring of water." You mean the hole in the grown where the water moves through, or the spring water?
Answer "Means "spring of water" in Hebrew."
What is Hebrew? Answer: "A member of an ancient people living in what is now Israel and Palestine and, according to biblical tradition, descended from the patriarch Jacob, grandson of Abraham. After the Exodus ( circa 1300 BC) they established the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and their scriptures and traditions form the basis of the Jewish religion."
My playmate asked me: "What does your name "Tinker" mean? Answer: My Dad nicknamed me that because he liked something he read about a 1910 major-league baseball team.
"These are the saddest of possible words:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."
Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,
Tinker and Evers and Chance.
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
Making a Giant hit into a double-
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."
"Franklin Pierce Adams' "Always In Good Humor" column in the New York Evening Mail ran short one mid-summer day. His editor, not a fan of white space, ordered him to fill it.
So, on his way to the Polo Grounds, Adams jotted down a poem, his muses being the three thorns in the Cubs infield who eternally vexed his beloved New York Giants.
Shortstop Joe Tinker. Second baseman Johnny Evers. First baseman Frank Chance."
Wow! Some people sure put a lot feelings into our names don’t they….

While
I disagree with (((Daniel Marans'))) perspective, I have to give him
some CREDIT for a fair-minded piece. Yes, we think different racial
groups shouldn't be forced together. Yes, we prefer white communities to
mixed race communities.
Yes, we think that jews have had, on balance, a largely negative effect on our societies. I don't see any evidence contradicting the rationale of these viewpoints. Reality confirms they are sound. I will say that the (((author))) of this piece is wrong for estimating the turnout at the conference as "50 or so" when in reality it was between 150 to 200 people. It's a minor detail, but I think it matters considering the size of the venue. The space was almost entirely full. More would've come if they could have.

It
is impossible to find evidence to support a false narrative. Justifying
one's belief system just leads to more false narratives.
There is no such thing as non-violent ethnic cleansing because it is using force to oppress people whose only difference is the optics of race. Such views demand a new set of founding documents based upon fear and the false notion of a superior place in the human race. There is nothing courageous in what has been offered by this group except admission to it on the basis of narrow world views and small comfort zones.
I have no doubt the fear that grips these men is real, but it is irrational, which always results in irrational solutions.

I suppose the rational solution would be to allow our people to be systemically dispossessed? No thanks.

Mr
Brinker, your ideology has about as much basis in reality as me saying
unicorns keep hacking into my credit card. But you can't convince
someone that they need to leave a cult.
Ps: my wife's Jewish. Whenever the "big meeting" happened deciding Jews would control the world, I assure you she wasn't invited. But somehow I think you'll think I'm lying.
