  • Charles V Spearman - I was not impressed with the Honey Crisp! Had an alum after taste on all three apples!

    • Charles V Spearman Sure, keep throwing the apple core at him! Also, In ancient Greece, throwing an apple at someone was considered a marriage proposal!

    • Thomas Williams - My Dad told me, Tommy, please take care of yourself and don't go to the Doctor cuz they are croakers, they will kill me. That I do eat a big red, green, or yellow apple every day, just in case.

So, of course, I am very leery of Doctors each and every time I can't help but go for help being sick after everything else has failed me.

    • Thomas Williams - Hahahaha, Oh Yeah, you cannot be too careful with these Doctors cuz they don't really heal anyone, only mother nature does that. They have these high powered drugs that keep your heart beating and breathing machines that keeps pumping air. But if something really breaks that will not heal it is best to simply say "Hasta la vista" cuz these wise guys will just keep a shell of your person alive for no good reason.

    • Jeanne Ward - You can include me in so much of that trust me. After being in that career and seeing so much, as well as even many of the Physicians will admit they are practicing Physicians... and for the Pharmaceuticals that are constantly being introduced only to have worst long enduring effects other than the help for the symptoms are proved... I am the worst Patient... I like My Mother, will find all alternatives to help myself, but at many times having access to med's that will help do away with congestions and bacteria is a must... There are some illnesses and some injuries that have to be addressed as quickly as possible to keep from actually becoming septic and killing you.. but so much of illnesses that can be treated with alternate ways other than drugs that end up killing you with the treatment I can't see that.. example. Cancer. I was told by an Oncologist that I worked for in Mt Pleasant that unfortunately once you develop a cancer cell that cell can be treated but it will later develop and attach itself somewhere else... Taking treatments aren't ever guaranteed and it gives you basically time to get things in order in your life, as well as sometimes more than you would have... it's really an option you are left to decide... While those that choose have maybe a couple or more years with loved ones the treatments can help in relief and it can also be depending on the treatment cause much harm. My prayer for Cancer is to let it be cured and keep the Pharmaceutical Industry from preventing that... It's big money like everything else compared to the Government it becomes dangerous and corrupt.

      • Thomas Williams -Thank you for that first-hand information Jeanne cuz I suspected as much too. I do think that becoming a Doctor, Nurse, Teacher, Policeman, or Soldier is a very noble profession that helps other people when they need it the most. Being very sick, not informed, or need protection from evil people. But still and all we must always be our own best friend making those kinds of life a death quality of life decisions ourselves. Frankly, I respect the Nurses running Hospitals most when I am that kind of sick because they seem to help me most of all.
