The Disqualification of Maximum Security in the 145th Kentucky Derby truly turned me off of horse racing and in particular the Kentucky Derby as it is managed now. The photo of those horses entering into the top of the homestretch where Maximum Security drifted over two horse lanes into the final turn when and where all of the horses involved had a clear lane in the last quarter mile to the finish line.
When Maximum Security won the race by 3 lengths became the total catastrophe of political correctness destroying what was one a truly revered exiting Hores Race known to us as the Kentuck Derby run for the Roses.
So I will never forgive them for that P/C disqualification of Maxum Security after winning the rest on my life and really don't feel like watching another Throw Bread Horse race anytime soon for that matter.
