Thomas Williams - When I was in the Army taking MP training Fort Gordon, Georgia. I took a ride over to the Masters Golf Tournament and walked up to practice area by the clubhouse and there was Ben Hogan taking practice putts. I said Hi! He said. "How are you doing soldier," I said, "I thought I'd come over and see what the Masters looks like I never been here before cuz I'm from New Orleans." and I said, "what y'all doing you just practicing today?" He started laughing, Hahaha, "yes we are, we don't start till Thursday." I said, "okay, I'll be back then." So I left went back to my car driving back to base. As you know Ben Hogan was one of the greatest golfers who ever lived, from Texas. For some reason, he got a big kick over me talking to him like an everyday guy and not all that tents over the Masters Golf Tournament after all. That was a long time ago.

Jeanne Ward, Thomas Williams - I had a once in a lifetime chance back in 1991 with my introduction to Golf … I took on a second job working with an English company Stylo … they are a UK company that is known for golfing shoes and attire. First of all, it was the job of a lifetime almost quit the full-time job I loved it so much. There were only five of us in the office and with the most Amazing Boss whom I will never forget for many reasons..too many to mention, but he as working with English Gentlemen if they hire you ..you become their family..honestly.. you do your job and you are dearly rewarded. He was not a talking head he rolled up his sleeves and worked along with us. I don't know if you know Nick Faldo, Freddie Couples and well I met all of them that participated in the 1991 Kiawah Island Ryder Cup... Our Boss had us participate in the activities and in the dinners that were there at the clubhouse at Kiawah as well as the Meet in greets... I represented Nick Faldo's collection and each of us had one of the Golfers accounts … it was glorious. I was given a beautifully framed picture of the Amen hole by Nick for being his rep and trust if there ever was a job that was not a job but a continued vacation that one was...
