They make it all worth while for me.

Lagniappe Dulcimer Society
It must have been Sept 30 -- and that means open stage. Lagniappe members showed off music that they have been working on at the 5th Monday member meeting. No one has to be perfect -- it's for the fun of it. The playlist included a wide variety of songs -- from Skye Boat Song to Country Roads to Laredo Cowboy to If Only I Had a Brain (or something like this). And we played a fun medley of songs -- Bile Them Cabbage Down - Soldier's Joy and John Ryan's Polka -- like around. It's great to see what can be played on the dulcimer. Thanks to the talented members who participated and keep it up!

  • Susie Batton Carriere Geaux Cousin Marie!
  • Thomas Williams - Wow, this is some truly nice pictures of some familiar women that have fun playing music together who I haven't had the occasion to hear them play - but I do know that they are truly great Louisiana cooks that I would walk one hundred miles to eat what they make, yum yum yum.
