Once upon a time, the American dollar value was trusted until Republican President Richard Nixon issued Executive Order 11615 in August 1971, ending the direct convertibility of the dollar to gold. That is how this country started living on debt printing money out of nothing that keeps making the US Government monetary system unstable functioning in a trillions dollars bubble of debt that will never be played off.
