Why are so many American people giving away control of their everyday behavior, not knowing the truth about why they are now doing that over the COVID-19 Virus?

T.W. - I am surprised at the number of American people who are now wearing a mask but not knowing if what these germ experts who are studying the Covid 19 virus are right or wrong about how much they know about the COVID-19?

The Germ experts don't know that yet. So why keep the country's economy on lockdown and wear a mask around each other if the experts still don't know?
