"Why are Blacks dying at higher rates from COVID-19?"- How I will be demanding better behavior from these public service members for you and me in the future. I think they can fix what is broken in our country's culture if they really try. God Bless.
Rashawn Ray writes that the high rate of COVID-19 in the Black population in the U.S. is due to structural inequality that has pushed Blacks into denser neighborhoods, clustered them in service jobs, caused environmental health threats that exacerbate COVID-19 risk, and denied effective health care.

Thomas Williams, What in the world is going on with that kind of disparity death rate between races over germs is this?
Ted BrackThe person with high blood pressure diabetes etc get a virus hit hard people who can't afford healthy salads and fruit McDonalds etc. Out American diet needs to change from bad diets to healthy diets
Reginald Mackwell the case with my Lil brother who had no health issues was turned away twice it wasn't until he started coughing up blood they choose to admit him by then it was too late that's part of the problem we are getting turn down at the beginning of the infection.
Thomas Williams, I am beyond endurance waiting for this country's authorities working in the important jobs here in America not acting with empathy and sympathy to families like yours. How I will be demanding better behavior from these public service members for you and me in the future. I think they can fix what is broken in our country's culture if they really try. God Bless.
Chris Dubois, It’s not actually double the death rate. It’s 57% black and 40% white. My guess is that since New Orleans is predominately black and the zip codes that are mainly affected are giving that illusion. If you check the CDC website for Louisiana and review the deaths in other Parish’s. It’s almost 50/50. Actually In some parish’s based on the racial mix- Some whites are 80% death rate and blacks 15%. Either way, Asians are doing the best.
Thomas Williams, No, I'm curious to know why haven't the people running the US government not help the plight of the black American people living in this county like they promised they would. What did the first Black American president do for the Black American people before now and how those past politicians are pointing fingers at Donald Trump for something they are guilty of, namely not helping the black American people better in the inner city poverty that speaks for itself and is now contributing to more black American death than anyone else. So Shame on this country's past political power structure members that this ugly fact of life is now going on in America 2020.
