I just had a flash of a memory that has become a beautiful thing to me now. My daughter bought me pajamas, the bottom pants lag is too long. I've been walking around on the Pajama too long pants leg. So this morning, I rolled the leg up into a cuff, wondering if we had any safety pins. And the picture of a safety pin became beautiful to me now. Safety pinning your pants underneath your belt when you lose a button. Or seeing a lady's blouse open and she safety-pin her Bra strap. Did Velcro replace safety pins, and do people use safety pins anymore?
