ANXIOUS: Rep. Madeleine Dean told CNN that Greenlandic lawmakers shared a troubling message with her — children there are going to bed anxious, fearful, and sleepless over concerns that the United States might attack them.

During the interview with Erin Burnett, Dean criticized the former president’s repeated comments about Greenland, saying they sounded like the kind of “nonsense” you wouldn’t accept from a child. She emphasized that Greenland is an ally, not something to be “possessed,” and warned that this rhetoric is eroding trust and respect with international partners.

Dean said it is now up to Congress to push back on what she described as “unwell” ambitions and work to restore confidence among U.S. allies.
