I have always taken for granted that the public around me would come to my rescue if I were to all of a sudden become disoriented, losing my way, unable to remember the way home as a lost child under the age of reason.

That my trust in American citizens would live up to that feeling of trust between me and you, the invincible John Q Public. You have always come to the frightened American people's rescue, who needed no defense because your history is your defense from being any other way, but honest, nice, brave, and strong people who will love one another, especially the least of us, when need be.

Fondemality taking my inheritance, walking through a dangerous ride in amusement parks, and in the harsh realities of real life, my 86 years have been a lot more than just another walk through the park.
