Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison left the U.S. Congress to run for the AG position in Minnesota. He did so as a Muslim, eager to influence the state toward Islamic law.
His defense of the indefensible, the mob-style shutdown of an evangelical church service this past Sunday at Cities Church in St. Paul, should be a clarion wake-up call to the rest of America, and especially to all Bible-believing pastors/churches!
Unless something changes, New York City will become a Muslim enclave, and the states of Minnesota, Michigan, and Virginia will become increasingly the same, as they have elected individuals to high office who are committed to Islamic ideological beliefs!
America, wake up! 1500 years of Islamic advance across the globe, and most recently that which has happened/is happening across Europe should serve as a solemn warning of what’s coming, IF we don’t engage in the political arena and cease two erroneous ideas, that faith and the “political” don’t mix, and that because God is in control, we need not worry about temporal concerns.
Tell those destructive ideas to Germans who experienced the pure evil of a Nazi regime! Try communicating those concepts to nations around the world whose citizens have had to endure the Islamic takeover of their countries!
Our Christian faith should impact every aspect of life, including the public and political arena!
They’re still HOPE in our beloved America! But that HOPE rests upon a citizenry that is both informed and engaged!
When Jesus said “OCCUPY” till I come (Luke 19:13), He did NOT mean to merely sit passively, and inactively take up space and time!
The word “OCCUPY” means to “PRODUCTIVELY ENGAGE to IMPROVE” (Gk. Pragmateuomai)! That means that, while I wait eagerly for my Savior’s return, I productively and actively engage to improve everything around me, including that which is deemed “political!“
Those who communicate that, because of Jesus’ return, we should abandon any civic, community, “political” involvement, opting ONLY for “sharing the gospel,” are purveyors of an anemic, unbiblical form of “Christianity” that is beyond dangerous, lacking in courage and historical precedent, and just plain lazy!
The future of our beloved Republic rests on our obedience to BE powerful and courageous “OCCUPIERS” (in the true biblical meaning of the term) - praying for, seeking diligently, pursuing passionately that which is our most desperate need, GOD HIMSELF and a spiritual awakening - REVIVAL!
And, while we seek all the above, we productively and actively engage in the city, state, and nation in which we live, seeking to rid them of evil and make them better!-
