BREAKING: House Republicans Pass Short-Term DHS Funding Bill, Setting Up Clash With Senate

Late Friday night, the House passed legislation to fund the entire Department of Homeland Security through May 22, including immigration enforcement operations. Speaker Mike Johnson called the earlier Senate bill a “joke” for excluding ICE and CBP funding. The measure now faces opposition in the Senate.
