I was born in New Orleans, living there for 40 years before I left, traveling with my young family as a master machinist, going to different states around this country, making money. Running folding carton machines. I rode streetcars in New Orleans on St. Charles Avenue. Well, looking at the mansions standing for a long time, a long time ago. And now, the same enormous beautiful mansions of years gone by in the style of Southern gracious living before the Civil War, and after. Many stories about these mansions were very interesting, but there was always one that fascinated me while visiting the Cemeteries at the end of Canal Street. I saw a bronze plaque saying.
