BREAKING: President Trump has cancelled a scheduled signing ceremony for a bipartisan housing bill, saying he will withhold his signature until the Senate passes the SAVE America Act.
"Today's Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency," Trump wrote on Truth Social, as the move deepens his standoff with Sen. John Thune (R-SD) over abolishing the filibuster to advance the legislation.

Hold your ground President Trump
—
Go, Trump, do not give up.

Way to go, Mr President.
Call for the Republicans to replace Thune.
Rick Scott will get the job done.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since both chambers passed the bill and he refuses to sign, then the bill automatically becomes law. If he vetoes, then both chambers have enough votes to override it.
