Well, here we are, like, we were, like we were always feeling when we think about the LSU athletic program and Louisiana State University assembled over the years at the bend of the Mississippi River, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Our nice feeling about the university and fans of LSU living in Louisiana, and all around the world, have a friendly relationship with LSU, a friendship we like, the friendship we learn to love going to school there. By the leaders who taught all the students going to LSU over the years, and we'd like that friendship we have within our university family.
It's not a legal bond, or anything other than the relationship. The knowledge that we are with someone who wants to be with us, and who wants to talk to us. And listen to what we say because we have something in common. We have a deep affection for Louisiana State University and the athletic football program.
In reality, the facts speak for themselves: LSU is not a racist university. Those days are over with; that's gone. We let that go. That was some stupid people back then. Living under crazy laws that were bad and should have never happened. But we went through those years generation after generation, learning, finding out the errors of our ways, and we have adjusted, always adjusting our friendship to meet the moment. The hope for a better tomorrow together. If some national media members want to make the Jayden Daniels story about race, that's something they're going to have to do by themselves, because we don't feel that way. We don't want to hurt Jayden Daniels, and we don't want to be hurt by him. We want to simply leave our friendship alone. We feel good about our abilities as alumni dealing with issues as friends of LSU. We like our friendship. The way it is, it's a good friendship. It has taken us a long way. The best company we've ever had in our lives. We have the best football players in Louisiana. And now, one of the great offensive coaches and coaching staff and players from all around the country assembled here. To try and win a championship for all of us to share. No one is going to make us do something we don't want to do, so leave us alone. Following the LSU Fighting Tigers, wherever we go, we're ready. I'm not afraid of mean and hateful people.
