I’ve never seen that before. The Policemen usually have a kinship with one another. Still, not so in Portland, Oregon, or Chicago, Illinois; they were allowing the ICE officer to be hurt, surrounded by maniacs and creeps, and just awful, violent people, throwing things and hurting them, when ICE called for help. They were told to forget it; the City and State police would not come to their rescue. What a pitiful place to live.

After a vehicle ramming incident in the vicinity of 39th and Kedzie in Chicago, besieged ICE agents called for emergency backup from CPD and were refused. This denial of assistance will have deep reverberations within law enforcement.
