Tinker:
President Ronald Reagan spoke these words to an audience of D-Day veterans and world leaders.
"These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc. These are the men who took the cliffs. These are the champions who helped free a continent. These are the heroes who helped end a war."
When the LSU tiger
football season starts a new college football year I keep remembering
the proud words of the many heroes that went before.President Ronald Reagan spoke these words to an audience of D-Day veterans and world leaders.
"These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc. These are the men who took the cliffs. These are the champions who helped free a continent. These are the heroes who helped end a war."
Like the heart felt words of Ronald Reagan speaking of the WWII military men attacking the beaches in Normandy France November 6 1944.

Dandy Don's LSU Sports Report
With the LSU football team's spring practice session at its midway point, today I'll dish out a few comments and tidbits about which offensive players have made the most of it and how the depth chart appears to be shaping up. Later I'll do the same for the defense.
Before leaving the topic of football, yesterday it announced that former Tiger Barkevious Mingo has been invited to the NFL Draft in New York City in three weeks, and that Coach Les Miles will join him there. Speaking of Mingo, he was recently featured in this segment of ESPN's Sports Science show, which I think you'll enjoy.
