I don't want to do that anymore, because it's just too much "exploiting."

Matthew 15 - Jesus Corrects the Pharisees and Ministers to Gentiles

A. Jesus denounces religious externalism.

1. (1-2) Leaders from Jerusalem question Jesus.

Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”

2. (3) Jesus answers with a question setting man’s tradition against God’s will.

He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?”
(4-6) An example of how their traditions dishonored God: the practice of not

3. (4-6) An example of how their traditions dishonored God: the practice of not helping your parents with resources said to be devoted to God.

“For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”; then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.”4. (7-9) Jesus condemns their hollow tradition as hypocrisy.“Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”

5. (10-11) Jesus speaks to the multitude about religious externalism.

“Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?”
5. (10-11) Jesus speaks to the multitude about religious externalism.
When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

6. (12-14) Jesus then warns His disciples that only what is of God and of truth will last and be secure.

Then His disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

7. (15-20) The condition of the heart is what really defiles a person

Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.” So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

Explain this parable to us: In Matthew 15:12-14 Jesus didn’t really speak in a parable (except for the brief illustration of the blind leading the blind). Yet because the disciples did not understand Him, they asked for an explanation.

Tinker:

God may show them mercy, but before you I stands just another man, and I expect them to obey the law. So the two choices is very clear for them around me, ether obey the law, or see a doctor. And if they don't chose that conclusion, I'm calling a policemen. Because the rest of their problems is between them and God?

My heart stays within the sphere of my parents teaching, so I can continue to live a safe and healthy life around the people where I live.

That other men and women of different persuasion who chose the way that they feel around us, is of no matter to me anymore. Because I do see that mankind has just about smashed all of they civilization virtues, and is declining very quickly, if they have ever advanced their wisdom at all before.

No one can keep living like they have been doing very much longer. They have bury their own soul in treachery, fighting each other for power, and losing their natural spirit to truly advance mankind intelligence, and wisdom.

What ever loving god that once stopped to breath life into our planets humanity has long since traveled somewhere else into this vast Universe.

Looking for divine rescue in this reality seem very childlike don't you think, if they don't standup on their own two feet what is the use?

I dough very seriously if their government will ever come to their family's rescue, after taking their money to further the government own self interest. Building up the government power to maintain control over the American citizens.

That their government will now only reach into their privacy deeper so they can more closely keep track of the peoples every move. America has lost they social freedom because of the corruption of our trusting neighbors, who kept voting just like the running political dogs wanted them to do. Whatever shred of dignity America once embraced is long gone.

Waving foolishly into the TV cameras hoping to speak into the TV Networks microphones gaining a moment of television celebrity fame, is now what this society has reduced itself to.

Our civilization has declined at the studentship of the people running the show now, and it is our own fault, god had nothing what so ever to do with this decline, we are on our own.

God gave them a free will to choose their own way in life, it is just to bad that they could not find the wisdom that we needed with their natural five senses. Somehow the generations of people through our mankinds history has become more and more uncivilized.

And still they keep this bull talk show going, instead of going to church to show respect for the lord and the law, the people only become weaker griped in their deep barbaric practices and superstitious fear.

So obviously then they don't believe in god at all, I myself on the other hand feel like being only a man, unconfused and content in my human limitations?

I like being nice to good people, uninfected from the bull talk. In this way I feel closer to god spirit.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin blasted President Barack Obama and gun control advocates Friday, blaming them for "exploiting" recent mass shooting tragedies to promote their political agenda.
Speaking to a welcoming crowd at the National Rifle Association convention in Houston, the folksy former governor from Alaska also used chewing tobacco at one point to draw some laughs.

Aah! After reading the police account of Jeremy Hill brutality beating down a young man trying to walk away, no matter what was done or said before, outside a Baton Rouge, La barroom. I feel nothing but repulsion now over someone that I truly once admired a lot.

Jeremy Hill can really run with the football. I go as far as to say that he is just about as good a college RB as it gets.
Now this, something that I will never forgive. I hope that Les Miles doesn’t reinstate him back onto the LSU football team, because if he does, I truly can’t cheer for a bad person like him any more

These college football players have had the community high social status free pass handed to them on a silver platter, because they play college football for LSU. And to think that some of them can't even walk around being polite to people who live around them in public. People like that breaking the law ( hurting people with their fist because they can) can't be helped, and I don't want to anymore.

I am truly tired of all that going easy on people who have had a hard up bringing, when I see one person hurting another that is a willful lack of control, obey the law like everyone else?

Top of the 1st inning
Not the way Eades wanted to start out the game … Richie Martin swings and misses on strike three, ball gets away from Ross but he guns Martin down at first … Then the trouble starts. Casey Turgeon singles back up the middle and scores on a booming triple by Taylor Gushue. Gushue’s triple hit the bottom of the right field wall and Jared Foster was unable to play the carom, allowing Gushue to roll to third for an easy triple … Gushue scored on Shafer’s sac fly to CF … Eades got lefty Zack Powers to ground out to second base to end the inning. 2 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors 0 left. Glenn Dorsey Joins Strong D-Line

Taylor Price 49ers.com @TaylorPrice49 Goal Posts Blog

There's been a heat wave in the South Bay this week, but Glenn Dorsey doesn’t mind.

The new 49ers defensive lineman and Louisiana native has been soaking up the sun rays, all while soaking up knowledge from San Francisco’s coaching staff.

Ever since Dorsey signed a two-year contract with the 49ers on Mar. 13, the sixth-year pro has been a mainstay at 49ers headquarters. Dorsey has been consistently lifting weights with the team’s defensive linemen and because of those sessions, he’s seeing results in the team’s “football school” workouts.\

“Everybody’s strong,” said a smiling Dorsey when asked about San Francisco’s defensive linemen. “Everybody’s strong.”

Strength will come into greater focus when training camp begins. But for now, the 6-foot-1, 297-pound defensive lineman has concentrated on learning the 49ers defensive playbook and the basics of all defensive line positions in the team’s 3-4 defensive alignment.

“We’re focusing on getting the fundamentals down, getting down the techniques of the defense,” Dorsey said. “Everybody has been in high spirits, so it’s fun right now.”

The former Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman has experience across the defensive line in various alignments. He started in 65 of the 66 games he played with Kansas City, totaling 238 tackles, four sacks, four fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and three pass breakups.

In San Francisco, Dorsey has enjoyed the challenge of learning multiple roles in a new defensive scheme. The 49ers will need a replacement for outgoing nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga and Dorsey is in competition to man that spot.

For now, Dorsey is enjoying the multiple assignments he’s been given at offseason sessions.

“We play all positions,” Dorsey said. “It’s coming fast right now, but I’m getting it down.”

Dorsey is one of the many players on the roster that have provided great tempo at practice.

It’s not being overlooked by Jim Harbaugh.

“The team is in shape,” the 49ers coach said this week. “Guys have been doing a good job of getting themselves ready to go.”

Conditioning is one thing, but the bigger focus is learning the nuances of the playbook

Dorsey finds learning and working out easier to do in Northern California’s sunny climate.

“A lot of pretty days,” the Baton Rouge, La., native said. “The weather is nice and the guys around here like to work hard and help you out.”

Furthermore, Dorsey is encouraged by his progress. He’s learning more of the defense each day and has relied on veterans like Justin Smith and Ray McDonald for their knowledge of the system.

“The guys you’re working with are helping you out,” Dorsey said.

Lifting and conditioning with some of the league’s strongest offensive and defensive linemen provides a quality benchmark for Dorsey this offseason, too.

“You have to make sure you’re getting yourself strong and that you’re doing your part,” he said.

For the rest of the time leading up to training camp, the former first-round pick will concentrate on learning San Francisco’s defensive schemes while strengthening bonds with his new teammates.

The process hasn’t been too difficult.

It also helps that the 49ers just drafted a fellow LSU Tiger to the defense with first-round draft pick Eric Reid.

“I loved it,” said Dorsey, a multi-award recipient member on LSU’s 2008 BCS Championship team. “He’s from my hometown, so I was excited about it. I’m excited for him to come in and show what he can do.

“I know he’s going to come out and work hard. He’s going to be ready to go.”

Dorsey can relate.

A workman-like approach has been consistent ever since the 49ers signed him at the start of the free agency period.

The 49ers defensive lineman has motivation for the 2013 season. He wants to earn a significant role on a Super Bowl contenting team. He also wants to showcase his disruptive, defensive ability.

Dorsey couldn’t help but notice that Kansas City will be the first road game on San Francisco’s preseason schedule.

“That’s going to be fun to go back there and see faces that I know,” Dorsey said. “I’ll be looking forward to it.”

I have had a good feeling about Dorsey from the day he signed and every new thing I hear about him reenforces that feeling. I think this will be one of Dorsey's best years as a pro.

    Dorsey is a borderline bust.
Maybe Mcdonald or JS can move to DT and Tank can pull stunts with Aldon.

He was a bust before he came here to good coaches. Wasnt Alex Smith a bust too? Then he had GOOD COACHES. His work ethic is there and we will do great. Give it time

  • Germain Martinez · Sacramento, California
I have no doubts he'll play like the top 5 talent he was envisioned for when he came out of LSU.

Dandy Don's LSU Sports Report
Good morning, Tiger Fans.

Yesterday was a great day for the LSU baseball program as Coach Mainieri won his 300th game at LSU and Aaron Nola threw his fourth straight complete game in the Tigers’ 5-0 shutout of Florida. With the win, LSU is now 42-6 overall and 18-5 in the SEC, Coach Mainieri is now 300-128-2 in seven seasons at LSU, and Nola (9-0) is now the first Tiger pitcher to throw four straight complete games since Mike Sirotka in 1993. In Nola’s last four outings, he has allowed only four runs while striking out 31 opposing hitters.

The Tigers were led at the plate by Raph Rhymes who went 2-for-3 and Jacoby Jones who went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Also, designated hitter Sean McMullen delivered a clutch RBI double in the fifth to double the Tigers’ lead, and speedy Andrew Stevenson drove home two in the eighth with a bases-loaded infield single that he beat out to first.

Here's a brief scoring summary: An RBI groundout from Jones gave the Tigers an early 1-0 lead in the second inning. In the fifth inning, McMullen’s RBI double and Mark Laird's RBI groundout extended LSU’s lead to 3-0. In the eighth inning with the bases juiced, Stevenson beat out a ground ball to short, adding two more insurance runs.

The Tigers will go for the series sweep today at noon and the game will be televised by ESPN. Ryan Eades (7-1, 2.30 ERA) will get the start for the Tigers, but unlike Nola he hasn't had his best stuff in his last few outings. I'm looking for him to change that today. I don't think I'll be able to do much, or any, tweeting today for those of you who follow DandyDonLSU on twitter because I'll have company and will be preparing for my oldest daughter’s 10th birthday party, but you better believe I'll be watching!

In tomorrow's game, 9-time Olympic track star Carl Lewis will throw out the first pitch in an effort to raise awareness for the need of organ and tissue donation. The day has been designated as Organ Donor Awareness Day at the Box, and the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA) will distribute information to fans. LSU players and coaches will sport green “Donate Life” bracelets. This is another example of Coach Paul Mainieri using his platform as head coach of a nationally acclaimed sports program to spread a positive message to baseball fans throughout the country. I applaud Coach Mainieri for his efforts and encourage all of you to read this article by Baton Rouge resident and Pulitzer Prize winner Jeffrey Marx about the significance of the day.

On a related philanthropic note, the LSU Athletic Department has established a Nelson Fund to assist former LSU Lady Tiger Jasmine Nelson whose mother passed away from ALS earlier this week. To find out more about the fund and how you can help this Tiger in need, please see this article on LSUSports.net.

Now changing gears to the Jeremy Hill story... a second man has been arrested for his involvement in the bar fight, and thankfully he is not associated with the LSU football program. According to multiple reports, 20-year-old Robert Bayardo was arrested yesterday on a charge of felony second-degree battery. No formal charges have been filed against either individual at this time, and it will likely be several weeks before that happens.

In closing, one of this site's longtime readers who is a huge Tiger Fan and a MSgt in the US Air Force informed me that they lost a KC-135 crew in a crash yesterday out of Manas (Kyrgyzstan). I ask that you keep the families of these crewmembers, and all military personnel who proudly serve and protect our country, in your prayers.
