Sliding slowly into hell, and will we arrive in our life time?

Tinker:

We the people are in reality on the wrong side of wisdom pretending that the American people running the United States federal government in
Washington DC is moving the American people daily lives in security.

No ladies and gentlemen our destruction is becoming clearer and clearer. Because the result of a population of people who are totally deceiving the reality that they live in, and that has become a fools game full of a pretending nation of people. Practicing and preaching to each other about a love that is not real, trapped in a lie and of course doom to fail. That they are just hoping under their breath that they will die before the final stop arrives.

The finial stop of course is when inflation get out of control devaluing the money that the United States government is printing. That the final stop will just about hurt every man, woman, and child on this planet.

The final stop will be a time and place that has total out of control chaos and starvation, crime, killing, and desperate inhumanity of man inhumanity to man.

The final stop will not be because of gods will, but rather because of mankind's corruption handed down from generation to generation until the very end.

So lets just keep making celebrity out of the people who pretend for a living because after all the final stop is the end of civilization as we knew it. The final stop will be savage for the savage humans left to fend for themselves.

Jadeveon Clowney is of course a very good college football player, then again the SEC is full of very good college football players. Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Texas A&M, is also enriched with very talented college football players. South Carolina does have a good one in Jadeveon Clowney.

Picking the very best # 1 and 2 SEC defensive football player for the up and coming 2013 college football season is something that only god might know, don't you think?

Rookie WR Shepard Impressing Early

By Bo Wulf

Russell Shepard's favorite player has always been Michael Vick. The undrafted rookie wide receiver out of LSU admitted that he's been a little star struck around the Eagles quarterback at times, though you wouldn't know it by watching Shepard on the field. Take Saturday's practice, for example, when Shepard hauled in a difficult 50-or-so-yard completion from Vick. It was such a seminal moment for Shepard that he made a bee-line to his phone following practice.

"I went in and I called my dad," Shepard said following Sunday's practice at Lincoln Financial Field. "To play among all these guys is a dream come true, but to have somebody like Vick to mentor you, to teach you the game, words can't explain how that makes me feel."

Rookie WR Russell Shepard
That context should tell you how much it meant to Shepard when Vick was asked to identify a young receiver who has impressed him early on and responded with a nod to Shepard.

"It's a blessing," said Shepard. "Somebody like Michael Vick, who's a future Hall-of-Famer in my book, a great guy, a great individual and an amazing football player. I mean, that's my favorite player of all time. So for my favorite player of all time to mention my name in a sentence, it's a humbling experience."

All told, Shepard has probably been the Eagles' most prolific wide receiver since he arrived at the NovaCare Complex following the NFL Draft. That's because he's been relentless about catching hundreds of extra balls following practice every day. The rookie is fully aware that he has a long way to go in his fight for a roster spot.

"I need to get better at everything, from running routes to catching the football to understanding the concepts and learning how to go inside and outside to being able to contribute on special teams," he said. "As a football player, I have tons of things to work on. I'm green to this league and if I want to be here a long time, I have to learn to contribute in many different ways."

Of course, Shepard's chances of making the roster have only increased following the injury to
Jeremy Maclin.

"Yeah, in reality it does (help my chances of making the team)," Shepard said. "But it's hard to see Jeremy, not only is he a great football player, he's an amazing individual. My first day here, he welcomed me with open arms even though I was an undrafted free agent. My thing is to make him proud and step up for him."

Hill's legal issues and Football Practice?  (Posted on 7/29/13 at 8:51 am)

Understand he is suspended for now. Assuming things work out favorably for Hill and his legal problem, will he be suspended from practice with the team and workouts. Or will he just be penalized by not getting to play in a couple of games. Also what is his scholarship status does he continue to get free ride on tuition etc. Since he lives in athletic dorm does suspension get him removed from living there?

If probation remains in effect, Miles will likely reinstate Hill... will probalby be suspended at least for the opener against TCU but will be able to practice with the team again.

As for his current situation, suspended does not mean that his scholarship is revoked nor does it evict him from the on-campus apts.

He's still a student.

Cam Cameron & the LSU Offense  (Posted on 7/28/13 at 11:25 pm)

Surprisingly, Cam Cameron's offense may be very similar to what Miles has been trying to run for the past few years.

However, a master will be running the offense instead of a group of offensive novices.

Dandy Don's LSU Sports Report
Good morning Tiger Fans, I hope you all had a great weekend. I'll be returning to work as usual today after a very nice weeklong vacation. Saturday I gave thanks to a couple of friends who helped me with the updates while I was out, and today I want to give a quick shout-out to someone else whose generosity helped to make my vacation much more enjoyable, Gary Blossman. Gary, a longtime reader of this site and part-owner of the Abita Brewing Company, kindly offered my family the use of his gold golf cart to get around SanDestin, and when we arrived to pick it up he had it stocked with a few six-packs of outstanding Abita beer and even some Abita root beer for my girls. I'm going to pay Gary back by sending him a few Cajun delicacies from South Louisiana like boudin and smoked sausage. Anyway, I digress. Back to LSU sports....

In just six days, the LSU football team will report to fall camp and one week from today the team will practice for the first time. I’m looking forward to heading out there to check out the team and give you a report on what I see. As of now, the practice schedule has not been released, but as soon as it is I will post it here. In the meantime, here are a few dates of interest to keep in mind:

Aug. 4 Players Report
Aug. 5 First Day of Practice
Aug. 11 LSU Media Day
Aug. 11 LSU Fan Day
Aug. 26 First Les Miles Press Conference
Aug. 31 Season opener vs. TCU (8 p.m. CT at AT&T/Cowboys Stadium)

I'm really looking forward to seeing the complete 2013 signing class in action, and today I'll give you a few quick thoughts on which newcomers I expect to make an immediate splash. Of the 27 signees, eight were early enrollees who participated in spring ball, and so we already have a good idea of what they can do. Of those eight, the four that I believe made the biggest splash and stand the best chance of seeing early playing time are quarterback Anthony Jennings (Marietta, GA), offensive lineman Ethan Pocic (Lemont, IL), defensive lineman Christian LaCouture (Lincoln, NE), and wide receiver John Diarse from Neville High. I look for Jennings to further his case for being Mettenberger's backup this fall, and I also wouldn't be surprised to see a few select packages designed for his athleticism. As for Pocic, I look for the 6-foot-7, 280 pounder to compete with Elliot Porter for playing time at center, although I think he’ll end up as a tackle as his career progresses. LaCouture enters the fall in the mix for playing time at defensive tackle, as the big 6-foot-5, 265 pounder's physicality and ability to pick up the playbook was impressive in the spring. As for Diarse, he brings that big body on the outside that the Tiger staff has been looking for as a compliment to juniors Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, but it won’t be easy breaking into the rotation at receiver with all the depth there.

Of the remaining 2013 signees who didn’t take part this spring, all have enrolled and are ready for action except for Rashard Robinson, but it looks like he's getting close. As I've mentioned before, Robinson had to take a couple of summer classes to become eligible, and last I heard he has completed the courses and is just waiting for them to be accepted. I hope to find out more on Robinson within the next day or two and as soon as I do I'll pass it along. As many of you will recall, one of my sources really raved about Robinson this summer after working with him at Patrick Peterson's camp in Florida, and I'm expecting big things from the very talented cornerback from Pompano Beach, Florida. A few other freshman defensive backs that are likely to see playing time are Tre’Davious White (Shreveport, LA), Jeryl Brazil (Loranger, LA), and Ricky Jefferson (Destrehan, LA). In fact, these three have already been singled out as potential early contributors by Coach Miles. White and Brazil should also see playing time on special teams and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Brazil get some carries out of the backfield. His speed is game changing, and as my father used to always say, speed kills on the highway and on the playing field. Other freshmen whom I consider potential contributors this season are linebacker Kendall Beckwith (East Feliciana, LA), defensive ends Lewis Neal (Wilson, NC) and Tashawn Bower (Somerville, NJ), defensive tackles Maquedius Bain (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Greg Gilmore (Hope Mills, NC), and Frank Herron (Memphis, TN), and tight end Desean Smith (Lake Charles). Beckwith, Gilmore, and Smith are three that I am particularly excited about. Beckwith will push for immediate playing time at outside linebacker, Gilmore has the size to play today, and Smith is someone that seems to be a good fit in Cam Cameron's offensive style. Linebacker Melvin Jones (Lake Charles, LA) is also one to keep an eye on as he is expected to be a middle linebacker of the future, but actually has the talent to play some on offense, particularly at fullback if the need arises.

In football recruiting news, Santos Ramirez (DB, 6'1", 166, Evangel, No. 18 on my list of Top LA Football Prospects for 2014) will be visiting LSU today. Ramirez made a huge impression at the LSU camp and earned an offer, and shortly after there were premature reports of his commitment. According to reports, Ramirez’s mother will be joining him today to meet with Coach Miles and the staff to talk about where things stand and to tour the campus. I'll be monitoring the situation, and if he commits I'll be sure to let those of you who follow DandyDonLSU on Twitter know right away, and then I will post it here. Also, Davon Godchaux (DL, 6'4", 265, Plaquemine, No. 12 on my list) has stated that he will be announcing his school of choice on August 23 from his high school.

With only 33 days until the Tigers open the season against TCU, let’s continue our jersey countdown by looking at a special former player who wore No. 33 - Eddie Fuller. Fuller is originally from Leesville, LA and played his high school ball at Leesville High. He lettered at LSU from 1986-1989 and made All-SEC in ’88. In that same year, Fuller was on the receiving end of one of the most memorable passes in LSU football history. You guessed it; I'm talking about his catch in LSU’s 7-6 win over Auburn in a contest that came to be known as the “Earthquake Game.” I remember very well being among that crowd of 79,431 at Tiger Stadium on October 8, 1988, with Auburn leading 6-0 and less than two minutes on the clock. The Tigers had the ball on Auburn’s 11 for the final drive of the game, and on first down quarterback Tommy Hodson threw a beautiful pass to the back of the end zone that Fuller caught, but unfortunately he wasn’t able to come down with both feet in-bounds. On second and third down, Hodson threw two incomplete passes, bringing up a do-or-die situation on 4th down with 1:47 remaining. On the next play, Hodson found Fuller in the back of the end zone again, and this time he came down with it for the tying touchdown... and the crowd went wild! According to the legend, the crowd jumping up and down in excitement registered as an earthquake by a seismograph located in LSU’s Howe-Russell Geoscience Complex around 1,000 feet from Tiger Stadium. You can relive that legendary moment by checking out the video, “LSU Football Causes an Earthquake” which has been added to our Media Gallery.

Something interesting that came up this weekend is this seating chart that is now on LSUSports.net. As you can see, the new south end zone expansion shows how the sections will breakdown, and if you ask me, this looks to be more than what was reported as the potential new capacity. Judge for yourself, but I think this could bring Tiger Stadium’s capacity to over the 100k mark.
