Respect

Tinker
I was riding a train from Bay St Louis Mississippi to New Orleans, La. a long time ago with my Father. As we sat in a Pullman car with other men talking, they were telling jokes with each other. I heard this guy tell a very crud and vulgar joke to the rest of the men sitting there. I felt disrespected because after all I was an underage young person who was innocent of vulgarity and crud grown up humor.
And I resented being disrespected.

My Father was taking a nap and did not hear the ugly joke. So I pulled on his sleeve and told him that these men riding on the train with us were telling nasty jokes.
So he moved me to another part of the train and we continued on riding without hearing what those guys were saying the rest of the way. And I felt better about that then.
I sense that without ground up being respectful to children that this world had no hope of living in a safe civilized society otherwise.  If they couldn't even show respect to children then I don't want to be around them, ever.
I don't like people acting crud and vulgar to this very day, and even though I am much older, I have not change.

And now I also feel disrespected by the Washington DC political establishment. So just because they have the political game fixed in our American society they keep feeling that they can do just about anything they want in our U. S. Government. Perhaps even telling crud and vulgar jokes, as they steel all the money in public.
Because so far who is going to stop them?
The Washington DC establishment just don't respect the American people at all?
