The Baseball Gods must be very happy with the LSU Tiger college Baseball team. Because for some unknown reason they are on fire in every possible way.

Reminding everyone who were Baseball players before that is now watching from the great diamond in the sky. That a Baseball game when and wherever they are played has the true entertainment for people everywhere that make grown men cry and woman cheer. That the magic of Baseball never dies.

LSU was going nowhere struggling not to go home early simply hanging on with a wing and prayer. Suddenly out of nowhere their bats came alive like the great hitters playing Baseball from old, scoring hits and runs with magic from out of the blue.

So far LSU in their last six Baseball game are playing Baseball like great Baseball teams should and if they keep this exiting hitting ability up will simply keep winning also.

Reminding me of something else that I read about another dangerous baseball team from a long time ago.

I wonder if the players from that team are also watching what we are seeing hear today.

Baseball's Sad Lexicon

These are the saddest of possible words:

"Tinker to Evers to Chance."

Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,

Tinker and Evers and Chance.

Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,

Making a Giant hit into a double –

Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:

"Tinker to Evers to Chance."
