BATON ROUGE, La. -- No. 3 Ole Miss (7-0, 4-0 SEC) has its national championship hopes intact as it travels to face No. 24 LSU (6-2, 2-2) on Saturday, but the Rebels have won just once at Tiger Stadium in their last six visits.

Ole Miss is the rare road team to be favored over LSU at Death Valley, however, and it will take the best game of the season from the Tigers' erratic offense in order to pull the upset.

With an assist from ESPN's Stats & Information group, here are five storylines and trends worth watching Saturday:

Who is special guest on ESPN college Game day - LSU vs Ole Miss LSU Tiger Stadium 6:30 PM CST?

LSU fans want a big time celebrity with some Jazz to put on a better Show than Katy Perry.

Wow! Thanks a lot - that OK with me...Katy is a hard act to follow because she was really good - every time she through another corn dog my friend's frown as I laugh. and I am hardcore Tiger. She was fun entertainment to me, if not to him.

Laurel Anne Harrison : Ha ha ha. They take exception to one another sometimes. I ask my father when I was around 13 living on the concrete jungle in the 9th ward in N'awlins, "what is a redneck dad?"...Dad: "That is the people who live in the red clay part of Louisiana who are more country than anything else, and take exception to city people sometimes."… “Country and city people do not see eye to eye over the way that they are living in the two different life styles and places.

Of course that really doesn’t tell me what that style difference really meant in an emotional way but I just let those detail of what were not said slide away. Because do we really care all that much about the detail when we are kidding each other? It's all in fun, right?

And that was what I really ask my father back then about but he did not like to tell a 13 year old young man something that might seem just too ugly that he or she might not fully understand. Over how the grownups sometimes play with serious emotions in good humor. If you know what I mean? That we have a very humorous side to us when we are even very serious. And believe me if these college football player get anymore serious that we are all going get arrested right there inside the great football arena - Because I don't think that we can do that, can we? You saw Katy through those corn dogs at the TV camera, telling everyone that the LSU tiger football fans stink, and that they smell just like corn dogs? ... What was that you said, Duck dynasty? Go to Hell Ole Miss, go to Hell!!!

No one will be able to top the GameDay experience at Ole Miss ... NO BODY. That was a "lightening in a bottle" kind of occurrence. The harder they try the worse they will fail. THE GROVE let's all just accept it ... there is not even a close second to that place.
