Monday, the nation watched as Ferguson burned and the “peaceful
protesters” we had often heard so much about from the mainstream media
destroyed their own communities. These acts were largely defended as an
understandable expression of rage, but the national news coverage
surrounding the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, showed few examples of
demonstrations and many more examples of looting and rioting.-----------
